I stopped in for a quick to go order on my way to Seattle. I tried the burnt ends. The food was good. I expected the burnt ends to be a little hard/crunchy/ with texture… but they were soft. They tasted good, just not the texture I expected.
The customer service was great! They took my order promptly and were very friendly. I would want to go back to try a couple other menu items.

Normally it’s good food, but this time I have to give it a 2 star. I had the chicken which was cool but moist, chopped pork which was cold & had a few chunks the rest was minced meat. I have to say the only good parts of our meal was the rib tip. The ribs tip were seasoned good and were hot. We sat at the bar, which was a mistake because the service sucked. Again Famous Davis normally do good, but they had a day off that afternoon.

I guess this is on me. I should know better, but Famous Dave’s was convenient to where I was at. I have travelled so much recently that I’ve not had any REAL Texas BBQ. I decided to give this place a try. I ordered a combo with the “Texas sliced brisket” and BBQ chicken. The brisket had very little is any smoky taste/flavor. I had to drown it in their BBQ sauce to be able to eat it. The BBQ chicken wasn’t much better. It reminded me of BBQ chicken of my youth after it had been cooked, refrigerated and reheated the next day. Overall a huge disappointment, but mostly in myself, for taking a chance on “Texas BBQ” 2300 miles from Central Texas! Lesson Learned….AGAIN!

We came for the ribs and brisket on a Monday afternoon and they gave us the lunch special which ends at 3pm a few minutes past 3. The food was amazing and pricing was reasonable. Not many people there at that time. Would recommend the ribs and brisket. Comparable to Texas Roadhouse

Bar B Que at it’s very best… Native American founder.
Best Bar B Que sauce I’ve ever had. The flavor varieties are ‘out of bounds’ -good. No lie this is damn good food. Authentically True …American Food.
The Cajun Chicken Sandwich with Onion Strings, Remoulade sauce and Pepper Jack Cheese was ‘over the top’ good. Hearty sandwich it’s a mouthful -take your time eating. The Bar B Que sauces accentuate everything that’s good on the menu. Bursting flavor… Wow!
Coleslaw was excellent as to were the Famous fries… A Mango Lemonade served up in a Mason jar for your drink.
I only will eat Chicken or Turkey BBQ so my angle on food reviews are from this perspective…
Order either Chicken or Turkey BBQ and all the appetizers and desserts.
All the food here that I’ve tried has been delicious… That’s why I keep coming back.

Personally I think RoRo BBQ is much better brisket than this chain restaurant. Smoke ring was good, soft, but was dry. Mac n cheese is different for sure. It had peppers and corn in it. Beans were tasty, good bit of pork in them.
Catfish was nicely breaded but no flavor. Cornbread seemed out of a box.
Overall decent dishes, not much for the price in my opinion though (25 for mine, 26 for his.).
Would I return? Na. I think we’ve found better locally.
Waitress was great though. No complaints on cleanliness or staff.

It was okay. Fried things. Bbq things. Nothing stood out. Friendly server. Just a chain nearby and we were hungry. Criminal to charge an extra $4 for a tablespoon of Mac and cheese side. As pictured behind the lemon.

If you’re looking for a good BBQ restaurant, here’s your stop. The environment is nice, friendly service, clean (besides the 1 out of 3 sticky menus we got), good food. We like the rich & sassy sauce and I loved the cornbread muffin.

The food is great. I ordered togo through doordash. Pleased by the 2 meat combo i ordered. Went to open my to go box with the dave’s pudding— pleased by the huge piece i received but was DISAPPOINTED and disgusted when i found a roach inside the to go box. Not sure if dead or alive but this is unacceptable.

A cute bbq/American/meat lovers themed restaurant. Good ribs, not fall off the bone ribs but still excellent. Great with the rich & sassy sauce! The 1/2 rack of ribs comes with cornbread and two sides. Service was great, the gal who served us was super on top of it and very friendly. Will most definitely be returning!
