Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Ordered online and picked it up, had to ask for it as they don’t place the to go orders in the to go bins. They have a paper at the register that states “earn a free 16 oz shake of your choosing with a 5 star Google review”, I’m not sure how I feel about that, they’re basically buying fake reviews for a shake at that point. My food was good and correct, and no I didn’t leave a 5 star to get a shake.

The employees here are very friendly and quite the vibe. The food is always delicious and they are quick to get it to me. Aiden at whataburger is a very hard worker and needs a $2 raise minimum.

I came by for a quick meal and the service was phenomenal! The employees greeted me as I stepped through the doors and were extremely patient!! The food was also amazing and I cannot wait to go back! Amazing workers, food, and overall experience! Would recommend for anyone in the area or anyone visiting!

The service was not bad, it took a long time for someone to take our order, then it took 18 minutes for the food to get to the table. The food was hot when it finally got to us. You could tell they were short staffed. They need more people working on Sunday mornings.

I don’t think I’ve ever given 5 stars for fast food, so 4 is very good on my scale. I understand that folks complain about the wait, but orders are cooked fresh. Do they have an app to order ahead? I think so, but I wasn’t in a rush when I went. The breakfast bowl, hash brown sticks, reusable cup was a good value in today’s economy for 12.00. It was a lot of food, and it was cooked fresh and served hot. I came between breakfast and lunch and the crew was busy cleaning- all of the fountain drink nozzles pulled, cleaned and replaced. Marianna is a rock star. Beautiful smile, sweet personality – brought out the food and ran condiments out that I asked for. You really don’t get service like this except one or 2 fast food places. Very nice

Stopped by Whataburger around 5:30 PM last night and had one of the best fast food experiences. The line moved fast, my order was spot-on, and everything came out hot—especially the fries. Customer service was a 10/10 and the dining area was clean.

From Florida, went there at about 9ish when we got to town. Fries like shoe leather and hamburger was room temperature. Hotel was across the street and we ate immediately. Everything should still have been hot.
