This a restaurant that is right on the main avenue of McMullen Booth Road. This a place that you can have authentic Hispanic food or the Tex-Mex version that is popular in the southwest. I visited on a Thursday at about 11:30 am and I was seated right away. The menu is extensive and has just about anything you could ask for and the pricing seemed reasonable. There are even things that you can ask for that are “off menu” such as Jalapenos Toreadors (Fried Peppers) as a side compliment. I requested their homemade “HOT” version of Salsa to accompany my chips and it was dynamite! The waitress, Catalina, was friendly, polite, and very helpful. The food was served promptly and it was piping hot, which is very important with this type of food. It was very fresh and authentic. I chose three flour burritos with Carnitas, Spanish Rice, and Refried Beans. It was very delicious, however, I would choose ground beef or Chicken because the Carnitas were tough and chewy to the point that I had to use a knife to portion my bites. Overall, this was a great place to have Tex-Mex food when you get that “Craving”. I would recommend this place to everyone.

Juan and his crew always deliver for my family. Once you are seated, you are greeted with free chips and salsa to calm your hunger. I stop by every chance I get for the Bacon and shrimp tacos. Also the guacamole they have is an experience! They make it fresh, right in front of your table. Great food and a friendly atmosphere.

The staff was welcoming and friendly. The food was good and fair priced. I felt like we were treated well and the queso was delicious!

The chips were stale, cold and unsalted. The salsa tastes like diced tomatoes out of a can. The tilapia was unseasoned and oily. The shrimp was overcooked and chewy. The beans and rice were cold and bland. The waitress did not know that a side of lettuce, pico, guacamole, and sour cream did not come with the meal; but told us it did then later charged us for a “Supreme Salad” LMAO! Definitely would not recommend!

This was our first time here. The food was delicious . We had the ceviche and deluxe burrito. Both were very, very good. Food came out quickly. Our server was wonderful, too! Nice atmosphere inside and a good sized covered seating area outside as well.
We will definitely be back again soon.

Poblano’s is definitely a solid Mexican spot to go to, whether you are going to lunch or dinner. I’ve had a couple things on their menu such as fajitas, and grande burrito. That being said they were solid, just not amazing by any means. If you are looking for a traditional Mexican spot this isn’t it. The ambience is solid as well as the service. We went when they were busy on a Sunday and still got sat in a reasonable amount of time, and our orders were correct. Solid 4/5 stars.

Probably the worst fajitas I’ve ever had. Dry, no flavor. I have had better experiences here but yesterday for lunch was a complete fail. I wouldn’t order them again. It will probably be a while before I return at all honestly.

The food was adequate, nothing special just kinda basic Mexican. Had happy hour drinks but no apps or food was for HH. I didnt find any of the food outstanding and we had 4 people with 4 different meals. So it’s edible but I’ve definitely had better.
