The service was friendly, and the atmosphere was chill and welcoming, making it a comfortable place to dine. However, we noticed that water was not served when we were seated. The food portions were decent. The fried seafood was so-so, nothing particularly outstanding.
Prices are reasonable for the overall experience. It’s also a nice place for anniversary or birthday celebrations, thanks to the pleasant ambience.
That said, the pricing is quite reasonable if you’re just looking to grab a quick bite. The environment was quiet and not too busy, making it easy to have a conversation.
Paid roadside parking is available nearby. Overall, it’s fine for convenience, but not really recommended if you’re specifically looking for good, authentic Italian food.
Service was a little slow but it was crowded. A booking is definitely a must if you are a bigger crowd. Carpark is a little hard to find and the nearby carpark complex is a little small.
Will definitely be back again.
Generally, I was slightly disappointed especially risotto (being a classic Italian dish) was not nice. The risotto did not taste flavorful and was a little bit hard. Risotto had been in my mind when I wanted to visit this Italian restaurant because I enjoyed having risotto. The rest of the food was averagely good.
Secondly, the service was not good. I made a request for table setup as there was another guest joining our lunch. I had to repeat my request 3 times to 2 separate waiters (1 waiter & 1 waitress) before the table was set up properly (to provide the cutlery and plate etc). When I asked for the 3rd time, I told the waiter directly that their service was actually bad and not friendly, only then my request was handled properly. Before this small incident, the service in overall was not that great, especially the female waitress who had been showing her unfriendly face. I did not expect someone to be very friendly or must smile at all times, but at least, not to the point that I felt very unwelcomed. After I gave my feedback towards their bad service, they did improve a lot and at least, we were treated normally.
Nevertheless, the ambience and decorations (particularly coming to Christmas season) were great! The setup was amazing and it was nice to take good photos.
For parking, the guests can park at nearby street parking, if available. There is another building for indoor parking, about 4-5 minutes walking distance.
Ravioli very creamy but i suggest to share with your friends or partners, and the pesto just perfect because i try some other cafe i prefer this pesto the texture and taste are balance and nice. The juice nothing special just simple juice and slightly too sweet.. i will recommend to my friends and bring my family here to enjoy the dishes again
As the price quite pricey but worth it ❤️
Some things I feel can be improved:
– lamb shank is a bit on the harder side, not the fall off tenderness.
– toasted bread should be plated separately instead of served inside the sauce, making it mushy and difficult to swallow.
The second picture is pomodoro ravioli. The cheese is just right amount and the sauce just makes you want to eat more.
The third is bruschetta. I don’t like vergetables so I didn’t eat that, but based on what my sister said, it is also really nice.
I had a pizza but I ate finished it before I remembered to take a photo. The cheese was really nice, like you can ‘taste the dairy’ nice. Just the right saltiness too. Also, the pizza base is baked to perfection. Like the outside is crispy and the inside of the base is soo soft.
