Parking is always a pain here, as it’s located at the Fort Worth Stockyards.
We arrived at noon and were seated at a table in the bar area. We didn’t have to wait for seating.
The bartender was also our waitress. She was extremely nice, but she wasn’t able to maintain bar orders and service her tables well. She’s served us before, and I didn’t fault her. I think the tables and bar was too much for one person.
We ordered ordered cocktails, and they were good. I had a Sampler Platter as my meal, and it was very good! My wife had a Ribeye Steak, that she thought was ok, but not noteworthy. I also got an order of Calf Fries to-go. They’re are absolutely the best here and was the reason we had lunch here!
I just like this place, and we’ll certainly come back!

Pretty legit place in the stockyards. Had lunch and can recommend most of the items we had. The appetizer platter was good. The tenderloin on the lunch special was great. The ribeye was just ok. The broccoli cheddar soup was a bomb. Definitely worth checking out. Service was not bad as well.

Charlene welcomed us and showed us to our table. Darian was our server and she was friendly and very attentive. I loved my meal particularly the chicken tenders and bread. Gravy was perfectly done ✅ it is a nice restaurant with good ambiance. Prices are very good actually.

Entering Riscky’s Steakhouse you felt immediately you were in Texas. The atmosphere was very welcoming and warm. Staff were very friendly and our waiter Tyler was very informative when asked about the menu. Food was delicious, the steak I ordered 10oz flat iron steak was done to perfection, and the stuffed shrimp jalapeños were tasty, although would’ve preferred a bit more kick to it. Had the Michelada as a drink, they rimmed the glass with salt, although I asked for tarjin, overall very happy with it all, I recommend this place.

You won’t be disappointed. We will return. Upscale / casual Steakhouse.
Steak: prime quality, tender, juicy, full of flavor. The wet 21 day aged steak is unbelievable fill with flavor.
Cooked to precision. The corn was exceptional.
Service was top notch. The ambiance is set back in time.
Established in 1927, same family owned.
A step back in time, Riscky’s has become a steakhouse legend in Texas.

Came into this restaurant by accident, but the waitress was very kind and it was cute inside. Definitely overpriced and I wouldn’t get the ribs again, but their potatoes and fries were good. I was told the steak was exceptional.

My husband and I had such a great experience. It was the best meal I’ve had in years. Everything was cooked perfectly and tasted amazing. It’s a little pricey, but totally worth it.

We stopped by on a Friday around 2pm. We chose this place because it was a convenient walk within the stockyards and after reading the reviews, it looked like a good choice. We got the lunch portion 10oz Ribeye but the steak was just OK. Got it done medium and it was soft and good flavor but I’m not sure the portion that was served was a ribeye meat as it looked and tasted different from steaks I’ve had at other steakhouse. The meat had a lot of stringy fat, maybe that’s what it was but not sure if it was fat or stringy tendon. The texture with the stringy meat had me wondering if it was put on a grill or only juiced with smoked flavor for the meat that’s what it felt like. It was unpleasant to eat. The baked potatoe had crispy bacon bits tastes like McCormick packed ones- which leads me to think this restaurant takes short cuts. I was honestly confused. I thought I’d get a better cut off meat at a steakhouse. The lunch portion is $19 maybe that’s why? But we still ended up paying around $70 for two people with drinks, sides, extras. The menu says you can add a salad to your meal for $3 which we did and when the waitress brought our receipt we were charged $4. Not a big deal but we did notice that overcharge. We went to Terry Blacks the next day for great BBQ brisket, sausage and sides for around the same amount with left overs to take home. We probably won’t be returning here. The restaurant lighting is very dim inside. The decorations are nice and it does feel like an old town saloon when you walk in. But I prefer to eat good food over interior design.

We come to Ft. Worth once a year for a weekend conference and we’ve tried many restaurants in the Stockyards. This year we decided to try Risky’s. I had the 8oz Buffalo Sirloin medium rare. It was cooked perfectly but could’ve been hit with a little bit of salt. Darian was our waitress and was very kind and helpful when asked about the food I was debating on having. She was very attentive with making sure our food was good and making sure our drinks were full as well as making sure we had a great experience. I’m pretty sure we will be coming back next year and hopefully she’ll be our waitress again. Overall we had a great experience. Thank you Darian. I hope that management acknowledges you with the great service you provided.
