Cute little place. Fast casual style, order & pay at the counter and someone will bring out your tray. Food was good. Nice burgers. Tots were crispy. Strawberry shakes were nice & thick. Music was a little too artsy/indie for my liking, but not terrible.

Classic old school diner with fair priced food and lots of choices. The chili is a great value! They expect you to tip and then bus your table.

Was really craving a chili dog and since there are only a few Weinerschnitzel’s within the Seattle area it was the choice of coming here to support a small mom and pop shop or a franchise. (This place is located in Tacoma not Seattle if that wasn’t already clear)

From the photos it looked like a fun place to stop.

Street parking is limited but not impossible to find.

At first appearance it has a very nostalgic feeling, I initially liked it. As you walk in there is a counter top that’s reminiscent of 50’s era dining. Although that’s where it ends.

The overall shop was kind of dingy, felt like it hadn’t been cleaned since the 70’s. Some light bulbs out, pretty dusty all around.

But I was here for the chili dog! Push through and make me happy….!
Nope, I ordered a chili dog and strawberry shake since its name was shake shake shake so why not?

Food took 25 min to come, bun was cold, chili was luke warm cheese was cold and unmelted. Presentation was horrible but I was hungry. Ate through it unimpressed. Shake didn’t come until 35 min later. I was pretty much done eating at that point. Shake was bleh.
Had a cup of water while I was waiting for everything prior to that. I’ve had better tasting water out of a garden hose. Not sure if they haven’t changed the water filters out of the soda machine or they just really crappy water.

All in all it looked like a fun experience but was a bleh 2 star experience.
Food was bleh, no service (all order yourself and they just bring the food to you) you have to bus your own tables.

Has potential to be a great neighborhood spot, but needs a lot of work to get there.

Would not hurry back anytime soon… go to Weinerschnitzel if you need to fulfill your craving.

Great burgers and I love their onion rings!! They’re known for their classic burgers and fries and shakes. LOTS of flavors and amazing tasting milkshakes!! Clean outdoor seating with shade options so you’re not just being fried by the sun. Good quaint throw back to the classic burgers joints. I always enjoy this place!

Good old malt shop feel… great shakes, banana brulee is my go to. Haven’t had a bad burger yet and the cheese curds are awesome. My son loves the barbecue cheesy fries.

Cute and well styled retro themed burger place. Good burger, warm fries, very tasty shake.

Problem comes from the price. My meal was close to 40$. Granted nothings a small portion but that’s really high.

Another weird thing is that for a place clearly going for a older style setting, they were playing modern hip hop on the speakers? Seems like an odd choice. Plus, some of the chairs were dirty and there was a hole in the ceiling drywall.

Good food, but the atmosphere needs some work.

When we stepped in no hello or anything. So asked where do we order si ce its our first time. All I got a someone pointing to a sign saying order here with no one at the counter.
We ordered i felt like it was expensive but was good.
The bathroom was not the cleanest but not the worst.
Now to the food it was a decent smash burger the crispness definitely added flavor. The milkshakes were 8 out of 10
Nice retro look

The food and atmosphere were great and staff was friendly. I was surprised that fries didn’t come with the burgers but i guess that’s our current economy. The shakes looked yummy, even to a vegan.

Food is good. They nickel and dime you for everything. Had to pay extra to add ketchup and mayo to the burgers. Spent $92 and asked for a ranch for the fries and they were going to charge another couple bucks. Food definitely isn’t worth the price they charge. Won’t be going back.

I just ordered an Impossible double cheeseburger from Shake Shake Shake off Doordash (bag was intact and not tainted) and the patty was nearly raw. It wasn’t even in one piece, it was crumbling apart. That helped explain why it arrived so incredibly quickly. I wish I took a picture of what it looked like when I got it but my partner had the good sense to recommend I take a picture of it. This picture shows my feeble attempt in trying to combine the two raw patties to cook them on a pan. I called the restaurant and I spoke to an employee and explained the situation. The manager, without bothering to pick up the phone and just using the employee as a messenger, combated that it wouldn’t put me at risk of a food borne illness which, if you’re asking me is a very low bar. She did not apologize or anything of the sort, it was clear that my call was a big bother to her. I would not risk eating here.
