The local halibut was AMAZING! The sea bass was good, but more difficult to eat, as it’s a whole fish. The garlic potatoes, scallops and sticky toffee pudding were also delicious.
The servers were very friendly. (Although, we didn’t appreciate the one girl who came in for the evening shift and loudly dropped an F-BOMB while hollering to the cook. We could hear it at the furthest table. )

Beautiful, unique restaurant in a beautiful setting on the water.

Fishers seems like a tradition to the locals. Decoration is kind of vintage, but it was enjoyable for us.
We ordered Creamy fish soup – super delicious and rich in flavor, Curry and Seatrout. Curry was strong and spicy, but its definetely worth a try. Seatrout was a solid 8 plate, not surprising, but tasty. Overall experience was nice, you can visit this neighborhood if you want something different than city center, and also get some sea breeze as well.

A real delight! After enjoying The Shore Bar next door, we decided to try this place. The waitresses were very polite, and the oysters were excellent. The dining room can feel a bit noisy when it’s full. At lunchtime, you can enjoy a great meal here for a very reasonable price, but as always, it’s best to book in advance.

Had a fantastic seafood meal at Fishers at Leith. Fresh and succulent North Atlantic Prawns, so fresh that I ate the shell whole. Seatrout which has a tinge of aroma with each layer eaten. Scallops juicy and sweet, which were excellent starters and finisher. Oysters which were lip-smacking, drink its juices! Fish soup was wholesome, nutritious and great accompanying dish. Fantastic service, top-class cooks. Simply amazing. Will eat here again if I’m back to Edinburgh.

I happened to be in the area when I bumped into the restaurant. I love the ambience in the moment I entered the place. The waitresses wonderfully served me. I ordered a chowder and it was really nice for such a cold day. My menu was completed with a Chardonnay, which was really nice. Overall, I’d really love to come back and try other menu

Loved the cozy and vibrant feel of this place. Food was good overall, just a bit disappointed that our favorite dish wasn’t available when we ordered. That said, the local Pilot beer was delicious and made up for it. Great local find!

We found ourselves here as the least planned meal of our 10 day trip. We were delayed in arriving to our hotel so some nicer lunch options were done with service but it ended up being one of the most pleasant surprises. We selected it bc it was close and had good reviews on Google. We sort of expected it to be a tourist trap sea food place on the docks but it ended up being some of the best sea food we had on the trip

The seafood was perfectly cooked and served in a Thai style red curry. And the dessert was a cake with ice cream and a caramel sauce (we fell in love with that dessert in the UK) was one of the bast we had.

Great restaurant. The ambiance is charming, and the seafood is exceptional. They also boast an extensive selection of whiskeys. Definitely will come again.

We had the fish soup, King Prawn & Coley Curry, Whole Seabass and Whole Plaice. We especially loved the Plaice, it was cooked very very good. Everything else was also very tasty and had unique taste. Definitely recommend going to Leith for dinner.
