Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Horrible experience. I said Cobb salad meat on the side- what was hard about this? You took the salad back removed the meat and gave me the same lettuce the had greasy meat yuck! Everybody needs to be terminated who worked Jan 17, 26 at 1150pm. Whole crew had to be dumb or high. The cashier (Hispanic with black glasses) said “I understand you don’t want any meat on your salad but what about bacon!” It’s really not funny but it was something to laugh about to help us deal with getting cursed out by the cars behind us and waiting in the drive thru for 30mins. Get home didn’t has anything to eat because the salad was awful looking.

Horrible! If you are in a hurry do not go to this WhataburgerWaited in the Drive-Thru line for 20 minutes with three or four cars in front of me to get to the window pay to be told to pull forward. I only ordered my daughter a kid’s chicken strip meal. The sweet tea was spoiled. Drive thru cashier was rude as well. Huge Thumbs Down for me!

My Whataburger app for my rewards didn’t work after multiple times of scanning and redoing and scanning again and they let me have my meal regardless! Very appreciative! I left my wallet at home because I live right around the corner. They were super sweet!

I usually love coming here but today on 11/06/25 5:15pm shift
I ordered 2 number ones, nothing fancy or extra, and waited over ten minutes for them to come out. Other cars were getting their food behind us. I asked for a manager and she was smirking and chucking the whole time I explained the issue to her. While I was speaking, the food came and it was super cold almost as if it was just sitting out for a while. Horrible service and horrible management you need to do better

I went to this Whataburger on today’s date 1/4/2026 I ordered a chicken wrap combo and asked if it’s possible if it could be freshly cooked after waiting in the line for over 20 minutes no exaggeration they gave me cold food. I asked for a refund and Miss Rhonda stated that she couldn’t give me a refund because it was cash. After the poor service and sitting in line, I did not want to wait for them to remake my food and I didn’t trust them remaking my food so I decided to leave without food and my money. The fact that they have a so-called policy in hand that they cannot refund a customer cash. Only card is the most ridiculous thing I heard yet in 2026. It’s borderline Thief

We had a pretty bad experience at this Whataburger. The cashier made mistakes for the 2 groups before us and also made mistakes for my group. They double charged us for drinks when it was included in the combo meal already.
After ordering, it took over 30 mins to get our order. This is very disappointing for fast food.
The fries were bland, it barely had any salt and was not crispy at all. The burger was fine.

I can not eat onions because I am allergic and it will cut off my air way. my little bride and I ordered as normal no onions, the young lady behind the window spoke to me with out looking at us like I know everyone has had it done to them. received our food but guess what it wasn’t even ours, took it back in told the guy behind the counter wrong order ( after trying to tell me that it was just a burger they forgot…. gave us strips instead) they found our order still there. so we traded drove off guess what opened our burgers ready to eat you will not believe it they both had onions??????? I guess the customer does not really matter anymore. I would like to say the young man that took care of the new burger was nice and I wished I had looked at his badge to tell him thanks.
