Carrot cake for breakfast? Yes, please! It was delicious!! The drinks and parfait were good. My son got the Espresso Mousse, I believe it was called. Very rich and tasty as well. They had a cute little back patio with artsy wall paintings of nature. We enjoyed our stop here.

My wife was wanting a cup of coffee and I wanted some gelato, the first time we went by the place they gave me a small gelato and my wife got her coffee, had to go back a second time we liked it so much, wasn’t disappointed, same friendly barista working the counter, really enjoyed it, look forward to returning.

Had the best experience here this past Sunday, super friendly staff. I had an iced matcha and it was great and my sister had an espresso that she enjoyed. Along with a bagel and their little Italy toast! The best part was the group of dogs we saw with the friendliest owners! definitely worth the visit

I enjoyed a perfectly brewed coffee that had rich flavor and a smooth finish. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, making it a lovely place to relax or catch up with friends.
The staff was friendly and efficient, though the seating area could get a bit crowded during busy times.

I stopped by this cafe today and it was a bit of a mixed bag. The food was def good, but the service was just so-so. One thing that kinda threw me off was that everything’s to-go. That was a bit of a bummer. But the backyard is honestly really beautiful, and the whole vibe of the place is nice. If you’re looking for a spot with a great outdoor space, this might be worth checking out.

This spot is located in the heart of Little Italy in San Diego and offers a variety of seating options: outside, inside, and in a charming back patio. The staff were friendly and attentive, making for a pleasant dining experience. However, I found the egg panini to be somewhat disappointing. It tasted bland, as if it were prepackaged, though I can’t confirm if it actually was. As for the coffee, I prefer it black, and unfortunately, it was quite light and lacked a distinctive flavor. Overall, while the service and atmosphere were good, the food and coffee could use some improvement.
My date was the best thing in Caffè Italia.

I ordered a cappuccino and a carrot cake, as one of the reviews strongly recommended them. Unfortunately, both were disappointing. The milk foam had large bubbles and lacked the tension needed to hold its shape, while the coffee itself tasted unpleasantly gritty, almost like biting into dirt. The carrot cake was extremely dry—to the point that I couldn’t take more than two bites without drinking water.
The barista was friendly but not very attentive, and I wasn’t asked whether my order was for here or to go. Additionally, the restroom appeared to be shared among multiple stores and was quite unsanitary, which further detracted from the overall experience.

Affordable, lots of indoor seating with big windows that open to the sidewalk. Limited seating on the sidewalk, shaded by a tree. Super friendly baristas and plenty of food options: paninis, toasts, breakfast options, salads, bagels, locally made gelato, cakes and pastries. Excellent cold brew and a delicious blended gelato drink called Orange Baba (strawberry gelato + OJ + whipped cream).
