Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

It was such a pleasure to have Alexis (working your night shift around 3:45am) take our order tonight!! She was welcoming and attentive and a joy to meet! It’s refreshing to do business with people like her who work overnight. My husband Josh and I work nights. That said, most of the time people working the night shift are very rude. Alexis was completely the opposite! Oh! And compliments to the rest of your overnight staff too!! Because the food was phenomenal as well!! Grateful for you all at this location!

I have to share my experience because things went from bad to AMAZING! Todd! He was amazing!! I had a salad from here a few weeks back and I found a bug in my salad.. I want to say it came from manufacturing company not from location specifically.. I called and sent an email. The whole time Todd tried his hardest to make it better. .well he did! Took me weeks to go back since I kept thinking I could find a big again!! I went back today and Todd gave me a free salad to make up for the other one!! He gave me so much reassurance that things could be different and they truly were! I can say this location has my trust again! Todd is running this location amazingly and making sure every customer has the best experience!

I had a fantastic experience at Whataburger today. The moment I walked in, I was greeted with genuine friendliness and a welcoming atmosphere. The restaurant was clean, well-organized, and clearly cared for, which made the whole visit even more enjoyable.
My order was prepared quickly, and everything tasted fresh, hot, and perfectly made. The burger was flavorful and juicy, the fries were crisp, and the attention to detail really showed. It’s clear the team takes pride in delivering quality food consistently.
What stood out most was the staff’s attitude—professional, attentive, and kind without being pushy. They made sure everything was just right and created a positive dining experience from start to finish.

Bummed because we had our first negative experience. We love this location bc they’re usually consistent. We purposely avoid the OConnor location and drive further to this one bc of how accurate and fresh the food is. This occurrence was unfortunatelu different. The fries are so soggy and lukewarm. Barely warm. I ordered sweet tea and they provided unsweetened tea.

The customer service experience I had was absolutely terrible. I used the drive-thru for a curbside pickup and was actually pleased with the speed of my order’s preparation. However, when I thanked the employee for the fast service, she responded with an extremely hostile attitude—the worst I have ever encountered in a fast-food setting. This employee made me feel entirely unwelcomed, as though I was a burden on the staff. Due to this unacceptable behavior, I will be permanently avoiding this location.

The food from whataburger is pretty good, but having customer service of the highest caliber like this store has, makes the food that much better. The manager, Todd, is very attentive and polite in every interaction I’ve seen, and the cashier, Deirdrah, with the dopest glasses, has a fantastic attitude. Thank yall!

First time to eat at this WhataBurger location. It is conveniently within 1/2 mile of where I now live. This restaurant meets the franchises high standards of sanitation & cleanliness. Expecting more customers at noon since it is on busy Nacogdoches Rd with great signage. Disappointed they were no longer carrying their delicious Mushroom Swiss Burger. Optred for a small cheese bacon burger instead, onion rings and a strawberry shake. Good but not extraordinary.

I placed an online order and went to the store to pick it up. I gave the cashier my name, waited several minutes, and even had to repeat my order name to the manager. Despite that, it took about 25–30 minutes before I finally got my food. During this time, I saw multiple people come in and leave with their orders, which made me feel like mine had been ready but was overlooked.
I stayed calm and patient, but the staff should have been more attentive. I shouldn’t have had to keep reminding them about my order. It felt like because I wasn’t being pushy or aggressive, my order was just forgotten. Overall, the service was very disappointing, and the team needs to do a much better job of keeping track of online orders and treating every customer with equal attention.
