The staff was friendly, helpful & attentive. My server was great! I got a steak salad & it was delicious! The meat was so tender & there were sweet potato fries on top which really added a nice touch to the salad! They also have a nice selection of wines. The interior was pleasant & inviting.

Glad this place is back to its amazing self that we know and love! Shortly after covid I was very displeased with their food and service (like most places around that time), but whatever they have done over the last couple years it shows! Burgers are great! Prime rib is very good too. Last time I was there I was served by April, who was fast, friendly, and you could tell she liked her job. Hickory is back to being my favorite restaurant in Hermitage

Hello to all my gluten-free and Celiac friends, I was in PA visiting my family and we stopped at hickory grill and bar. The atmosphere was amazing. Our our sweet was Brandy, and I told her I have a gluten allergy and she told me that the items that I can eat and made sure to tell the cooks and write a note. I had the steak, the coleslaw and the grilled shrimp and everything was delicious. I will definitely go there again and try different options. They do have some of the options as gluten free in the menu. Just let them know that you have an allergy and enjoy!

Heard alot about this place and finally went. Really cool atmosphere, was able to make a reservation online and the food was good. We loved the Bavarian pretzels with beer cheese and hot fudge. The cheese was nice and creamy. Hamburgers were good. One was done great, but minw was a bit raw; but when the manager came over to check on us I told her about it. She apologized and quickly asked if I wanted another. Our waiter as well said he heard about it and apologized as well. They did comp my meal so that was very nice! The Alfredo was good as well as the Romano Chicken. Not bad..definitely worth a try. They did say their well known for their steak and fish & chips.

This was once a staple for us,but current management decisions cheapened their menue.The bartender can make a decent Manhattan if they let him.He used huge ice cubes and garnished with cherries and bitters.They stole his big ice cube trays and made rosemary cubes for some yippy drink,and you have to ask for cherries! Manhattan’s have cherries! Yesterday I asked the waitress if they had the big ice cubes and she says yes and then dropped off a Manhattan with no cherries or bitters or ice cubes but some little smashed ice and ran off. Now that it was too late I asked her where my big ice cubes were and she says those are the biggest we got. Well that’s a lie from the first answer!
Then when we went to order our dinners for my birthday I ordered the crab cakes and she said they’re no longer in the menu. The big shots got together and said they were too expensive to sell, so they replaced them with salmon cakes!?! Apparently the owners think they’re similar. No one ever complained about the price of real crab cakes they just bought them because they were great. Loretta Lynn ruin the evening as I was a guest I ordered the haddock fried in Yuengling beer. They brought me a fish that looks like it was done perfectly on the outside but the batter on the underneath part was not cooked nor was the fish on the inside which was slimy and just mushy. I told the waitress and they said they would cook me another one.About that one there was another complaint at our table that ha d a burnt bourbon sauce waiting for a salad to replace it, and they brought me another haddock with a dark brown burnt batter on it,now the cook is teaching me to complain! So I got a plate of under fish and cold fries on one platter and a nice hot incinerated plate of fish on the other and my partner has nothing to eat and mine is scrap on two sides of me and I’m 75 years old today,out for a celebration.
There was just nothing for it.We asked for our check and went home and ate leftovers.Hickory Grill does not deserve to serve the public.They are sharpening and streamlining there business my cutting cost and charging premium prices for poor service and food.
I don’t dare go back for more of the same.

My wife and I visited the Hickory grill last night. Had reservations for 6:30. Made them online. Was easy. We were seated promptly. Place was packed. I had the pierogies’ and kielbasa and Nancy had the Romano Chicken. Both were very good!!!! Service was great!!! Have been here many times and will continue to come back!!!!!! Nice place for dinner!!!!!

The food was not good. My steak was dry and no flavor, the ribs tasted like ketchup. The service was GREAT. My kids got burgers and those looked good, of we go back I will try a burger. The salads were fresh and good. Our water glasses never got empty.

On Saturday, January 24th, we sat in the bar area, and there were only us and one other person at the bar. We have visited multiple times and unfortunately have experienced the same issue with this bartender/server on more than one occasion.
We had to call out across the table to the bar just to place our order, and at no point were we asked if we needed anything. For simple requests like boxes, we had to ask another server for assistance since ours was not around. We also had an accidental spill and requested additional napkins to clean it up, but none were provided. The only time he came to our table was to drop off the food and drink.
Overall, the lack of attentiveness was very disappointing, especially given how quiet the bar area was at the time.

We haven’t been to Hickory for several years. There have been changes to the menu. It is more limited, but the food was very good. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Huckory Grill for anyone in the Hermitage area.

We had the most wonderful experience here! Our server was Dominique and she was so attentive, kind, thoughtful and pleasant. I am so happy we had her as our server. The food came out incredibly fast and was wonderful. It’s been a while since we’ve been here and it will not be long before we are back again. I can’t wait to come back and try some of the specials.
