I loved the service here! I don’t think at any restaurant I’ve been too.has the staff been so friendly. From the hostess, to waiters, to servers and bussers, they were all just so helpful and friendly! The place had a couple of large parties, and our food didn’t take long at all. My food was good, not great, and my padta and sauce a little on the lukewarm side, but everything else looked so fresh. I know everyone thought their food was delicious. It was our first time here, but it definitely won’t be our last. The atmosphere is also so welcoming and homey. You’ve got to visit!

When we entered the establishment, there wasn’t hardly many customers and was 1st seated at a very tight table for 2, with a plant behind me which I requested another table. We were accommodated, and I sensed a slight air of disgust from the host. As if sitting someplace with a plant behind me would make me comfortable? Absolutley a personal preference. On a much more positive note, Linda, our waitress was accommodating and awesome! We came in for a leisurely dinner of appetizers. Her suggestions were spot on as we started with the steamed clams. They were so good, I forgot to take a picture before we ate. The sautéed spinach was wonderful and full of flavor. Then, we had soup over a salad. I had the minestrone, he got the chicken vegetable. Both were delicious. The eggplant parmesan angelo style was okay and it was a personal preference as I didn’t care for the prosciutto. The garlic pasta was absolutely delicious. The wine was amazing as the service was top notch! Next time we come back, we’ll try a more traditional dish and the pizzas are excellent, if you choose something lighter. Overall, a good experience.

Classic little Italian joint.
Crowded on a Saturday night. Food was good. The marinara was thick and not over ladled on the pastas.
Our server Daniel was cool, they were just super full towards the end of the night so waiting for drinks took a while.
If you’re not coming here in a rush, and are looking for a nice laid back dining experience, check it out.
The wine list was good and reasonable as well.

I started with a glass of Montepulciano. I had the linguine primavera with shrimp. Veggies and sharp were perfection with a hint of garlic. It came with soup or salad, I chose minestrone which was delightful. Ended with an espresso. Daniel was great and the outdoor seat I was great.

Little Italy restaurant in San Antonio Tx, great service, delicious food and best Tiramisu dessert in town!
Hidden gem in the corner of West Avenue and Blanco Rd., with plenty of parking lot (and no parking fees 😉 )
They have all the Italian classics you want, and the plates are very generous, tasty and flavorful.
I enjoyed the food service and attention.
I love the little Pizza slices they bring when you arrive, perfect to start your Italian experience.
And please do not forget to get the Tiramisu, it’s absolutely amazing!
Note: I personally did not enjoy the calamari, bite everything else was delicious.

Me and my husband came in today for lunch. We were immediately seated by a friendly host. When seated we were approached by our server Gabriel. He brought a warm feeling and showed incredible service! He made us feel very welcome and was quick to bring out our food. Upon leaving we had a very nice conversation with him. Will DEFINITELY be coming back to see our favorite server there! THANKS GABRIEL!

We decided to revisit Little Italy for our anniversary dinner. I will note, it is, it has been a few years since I’ve been to this restaurant.

The restaurant is true to its private locally owned roots and has maintained a very Italian and relaxed atmosphere inside. The service staff is very good, and attentive.

Some complimentary small pizza slices were offered as a sampling. These were very good.

We began with the stuff mushrooms. These were OK, but had a little too much liquid for my tastes. Our main entrées were the Chicken Alfredo, which had a choice of salad or soup. The salad was ordered and good. The other entrée was Chicken Parmesan, which also had a choice of salad or soup and choice of pasta. Soup order, and was minestrone. My pasta choice was Angel hair pasta with a butter garlic sauce vs. red sauce.

I ordered a Peroni beer for my beverage.

There were some large parties in the restaurant. I note this because our pasta and dishes came to us a little on the cool side. I did not make any remarks to the service staff, but in hindsight probably should’ve when I didn’t see the pasta or dishes steaming when they came to the table.

The staff did bring us a complimentary dessert for our special occasion. It was a slice of Tiramisu, which was unexpected and nice.

I have no doubt the food recipes are authentic Italian and probably family secrets. For me the red sauce on the chicken parmesan was missing something that I could not put my finger on what the ingredient(s) missing were. The cool pasta dishes and the taste are the reasons for not awarding a 5th star.

Overall, the food was OK, the service excellent and the atmosphere excellent, with a nice decor and some music playing in the background and not so loud that you couldn’t have a regular conversation.

I hope that if you visit, that you give the staff your feedback and your service experience is as good as mine or better.

Walked inside and it was nice and clean but dated. Was seated right away and ordered Chicken Sorrentina. This came with either soup or salad and I selected soup. While enjoying the soup a small complimentary slice of cheese pizza was brought to my table. Later my dish arrived and included spinach with a side dish of spaghetti. Everything was delicious. Service was good.

I swapped meat in calzone for veggies. I found the bread to be well toasted, but the cheese wasn’t fully melted. My husband had cannelloni and he said it was average. I had a cappuccino after dinner and it was undrinkable. I didn’t know a cappuccino could be messed up, but it tasted like it was made with dish water. The foam on top was correct, but the cappuccino itself was disgusting. First time for everything.

A lot of people in the reviews really like the sample pizza put on the table but it tastes like school cafeteria pizza, but cooked in wood oven.

The restaurant is older. We arrived at 6pm and were able to get a table right away. The table was pushed against a wall and there were piles of cumbs against the wall, like no one pulls the tables out to clean or vacuum.

Service was friendly. They add an “adjustment fee” to credit card orders w/o explaining that it is the chargeback for using a credit card, which feels deceptive. Luckily a gentleman eating alone close to us made us aware when he asked the waitress. Her response was “oh the machine just puts that on automatically”. We figured that it must be a credit card fee, but there was not a noticeable warning on the menu or anything about this.

This was a last minute find for dinner with friends. Beyond happy with our choice of the quaint shopping mall humility look. As soon as you step inside you are welcomed to large dining area. We walked in to an empty restaurant at 530p. And by 615p it was bustling and every single table and seat was taken. The house cab sauv was light and excellent to go with a chicken francesca. I had never had the dish before and the chicken melted into the sauce with each bite. Only negative, open concept restaurant means conversation came to a halt with everyone in there trying to talk over each other. I will absolutely be returning and bringing anyone who wants to enjoy a delicious meal in a family environment.
