Plate cost me $16.68 and it was supposed to be double fries now I have to go next door to get more fries when literally I just paid for 2 large fries. I am a regular customer and I swear I keep saying I’m going to stop coming here but end up coming any ways not only this they give out heavy containers to put ur food in for take out then they charge you by the weight and the prices are ridiculous. But food is good!

First off I would like to give the team that worked on 2/1/26 a big round of applause. The manager on duty was thrown into many hats. My boyfriend and I stopped here right after the snow that came know 1/31/26. We were headed back home to Sanford NC & alot of places were closed. Well fast fwd the manager explain to everyone who came in that he was very shortstaffed & to please be patient he had 1 server, 1 cook, 1 line person & 1 dishwasher & him that took on the task to serve customers. He let us all know its a Breakfast buffet Only All day which was fine with me & everyone who decided to stay & eat. Well Rebekah did her thing as the server for the entire restaurant. She kept checking on us to make sure that we were good. The cook did his/her thing in the kitchen everything was good & the Manager didn’t get his name was calm, cool & collected the entire time. My boyfriend was like aww yea we got a new stop when we travel thru. Thank you for a job Well Done Team!!! . I don’t know how service is on other days but if they can handle a crisis as they did then they can handle anything thrown at them.

Me and my wife went to eat there recently. We both had the seafood buffet. The food was terrible. All they had for seafood was 3 different kinds of shrimp, fried fish, mussels, and deviled crap. The fried shrimp was cheap, farm raised, and pre-battered. Pre-battered Gordon’s Shrimp you can get at most any grocery store is better than their fried shrimp. The boiled shrimp were little, farm raised, easy peel, cheap shrimp that were overcooked and the shells were mushy and hard to peel. We paid $18 a person for the worse seafood buffet I have ever had. I don’t know what has happened to their food quality, but it has gone downhill. The service and atmosphere was good though.

A great family-friendly restaurant with a fantastic buffet where the food is fresh and hot (or cold for salad and dessert items). The price is very affordable and the staff are always friendly, helpful, and keep your drinks filled without ever having to ask. I haven’t come here once where the food and service were not fantastic! Definitely recommend for locals and travelers!!!

Shoney’s in Manning is easily one of the best and most consistent places to eat in the area. Every time I stop in, the food is fresh, hot, and exactly what I expect. The buffet is always well-stocked, the servers are friendly, and the whole place is clean and welcoming.
It’s rare to find a restaurant that stays this consistent, but Shoney’s delivers every single time. Highly recommend if you want a dependable, good meal in Manning.

This place was awful terrible service. Very slow food orders that were poorly cooked and mediocre buffet. All our sodas were flat second round of drinks never came. Out of multiple things. Pretty disappointing after having gone to good locations. Waste of money.

I’ve been dining at shoney’s all my life, enjoying their meals and especially the buffets, but unfortunately most of the ones near me are closed. I found a rare find today and finding this shoney’s still open. It was not only nostalgic for me but the food was just as good as ever. Ever since I was a kid I’ve always had a soft spot for the hot fudge cake. It really took me back!
