Beautiful spot for lunch. We did not end up eating lunch here, but I did try two of their pasta salads they had premade. Delicious. You could tell the quality of their ingredients in every bite. The staff was super kind and helpful. Definitely a must stop to grab any Italian needs.

The chicken parmesan sub was a major disappointment!!! I would prefer Subway over what I was served today. The bread was burnt and poor quality. The chicken breading was literal mush, the tomato sauce had no flavor, and the cheese was Kraft quality. Also, the tiramisu tasted like it was made 3 days ago. Very soggy. I was really hoping this would be the new spot, but unfortunately I will not be returning.

The Italian Store in Westover Village hosted an absolutely incredible wine night that exceeded every expectation. They brought in six different Italian wine vendors and distributors, each sharing their expertise, stories, and regional specialties. With more than 30 wines on the tasting list, from crisp whites and sparkling options to bold reds and elegant dessert wines, there was truly something for everyone, whether you’re a casual wine drinker or a serious enthusiast.
The format of the evening was fantastic. Everyone was able to relax and enjoy a generous spread of food that perfectly complemented the wines. The charcuterie, cheeses, breads, and small plates felt carefully chosen and authentically Italian, not just an afterthought. You could tell a lot of planning and passion went into curating both the food and the wine.
What really stood out was the atmosphere. The event felt warm, welcoming, and very community-oriented. The staff and hosts were attentive, friendly, and clearly proud of what they were sharing with us. They took the time to answer questions, explain the wines, and make sure glasses (and plates!) were never empty. It felt less like a typical tasting and more like being invited to a big Italian family gathering.
This truly felt like a one-of-a-kind event and honestly one of the best things to happen in Westover Village in a long time. It brought people together, showcased amazing Italian products, and made the neighborhood feel special and vibrant.
If this night is any indication, I think it’s just the beginning of many more awesome evenings at The Italian Store. I’m already looking forward to the next event, please keep these wine nights coming!

The best coffee I’ve had in the US and the croissants are quite good. Such a European vibe for breakfast. And the prices are good (for the US).
Re-visited and tried their gelato. Probably amongst the best in this area. And slightly cheaper too. People are very nice!

Love this place! The vibe and food are just fantastic.
I come here with church folks on Saturday after our morning prayers occasionally. And it has never disappointed us.
Staff are extremely friendly and welcoming, and the food is just phenomenal. I love the subs, pizzas, and the gelato. I’m not a coffee drinker so I haven’t had their coffee before, but my friends (who love coffee) really adores their coffee selection.
They also sell grocery items so they provide a wide range of services and selections.
Seating is limited, but they’re not a restaurant, so makes sense. They have outdoor seating it really is only an issue in the cold winter.
If you’re looking for your next food stop, coffee needs, or grab dessert, highly recommended coming here.

Amazing Italian store! They have a great selection of cheese and balsamic vinaigrette, and they also have pizza, deli meat, subs (Capri sandwich I had was delicious!), and bakery goods.

I felt like a stopped back into a shop on a side street (canal) in Venice. Great selection of old world food surrounded in old world charm but with modern convenience. Subs were the best I have had outside of New York and Boston. I travel an extra 5 minutes out of my to work just to pick up a sub and a celery soda.

When I became a vegetarian three years ago I was always sad to miss the awesome subs! I still pick up for my meat eating husband and I would have the grape leaves (yum) and maybe a pasta salad (miss the yummy veal tortellini salad). Yesterday I was pleasantly surprised with arancini and eggplant offerings! So we had a full dining experience together and it was so enjoyable. The staff is always smiling even when it’s crazy busy and all of the treats like Berger cookies and Butter cakes and gelato are an extra bonus. Yay Italian Store!

Went there for the deli sandwiches. The muffaletta did not disappoint. I found all kinds of authentic Italian goodies and was so pleased.

I can’t recommend the Italian Store highly enough! Whether you want Italian sweets, a great cup of coffee, pizza, wine, or anything else even remotely Italian—this is the spot. I want to give an extra shoutout to Dylan, who has given me several excellent wine recommendations. I look forward to my next visit!
