The food was ok.
The salsa was good and once added to the meal gave it better flavor.
Rene, our waiter was attentive. It is not his fault our food took a long time to come out.
It is a nice place for taking the family or for date night. You are able ty o carry on a conversation without feeling like you have to yell.

Craving their Famous Salsa & Chips so I stopped at Los Cuates Westside Location.
Kiara greeted me as soon as I walked in! She has an amazing personality and truly enjoys her job. She gave me amazing customer service and treated me like a friend. Kiara ensures the accuracy of all of her orders. The teamwork I saw between Management and Wait Staff was very impressive! Shoutout to Los Cuates Cottonwood Mall location for their consistent quality of food and their hiring of great staff!

The nachos were excellent…salsa was interesting, a South Mexico flavor sweet.
The ribeye was not bad, but like every establishment in New Mexico, they trim the good part (I’ll forgive them, they ain’t Texans lol)

Excited to try something new since moving here and ended up disappointed. Went on a Saturday night, sat right away. However, as soon as we were sat, we were completely forgotten about. Didn’t get asked about drinks until 20minutes later. Only half the drink order was brought out, mind you there was only two of us. Then was asked what I had ordered again. I would’ve understood if it was a busy night but there was hardly anyone there. That should’ve been our first clue to the poor service. A larger table was sat after us and had their drinks and order taken promptly. We ended up leaving and headed over to Gardinos where the service was excellent.

I’ve been going to Los Cuates for years and have never had such a terrible experience. The general manager, Mike, at the Westside location near Coors and Cottonwood was extremely rude and arrogant.
They brought the wrong plate, and instead of fixing the mistake, he refused to replace it. He even said he had to personally pay for a side after telling us he would box up what we asked for. Well that never happened!
To make it worse, he kept walking past the table while our waiter was trying to talk with us about the issue,
If you value good customer service, I recommend going to a different location. This manager clearly doesn’t care about fixing mistakes or respecting customers.

We dropped in really late one evening after my son’s hockey practice they were about 45 minutes from closing time. I hate to dine in so late but we were starving. The waiter was so fantastic….super friendly. We received our food quickly and it was excellent! We cleaned out as soon as we could but we never felt rushed. A+ customer service!!

Started off well getting seated right away. Honestly that’s the only good thing I have to say about this experience. First off, the salsa was awful! Maybe we got a bad batch? We were still willing to give the food a try with all the good reviews. However, the service was the worst. Sat down and waited 25-30 minutes before anyone came up to get a drink order. I’ll give the waiter credit because he did apologize for the wait, but then he had to come back again 5-10minutes later asking what the order was again. By then, we were over it. Wont be back again.

We went on a Sunday around noon for lunch and what a wonderful day/time of the week to go! They had a live Mariachi band going from table to table playing songs requested by the guests. The food was DELICIOUS and service was so so fast! Complentary chips and salsa for each table as well., which is always a plus! We will 100% be visiting again!

Food was delicious, service was great. Hostess Madison was so kind, we felt like we were being served at home. We learned from the manager about the long standing restaurant in pleasant conversation. Good food Comfort and kindness all around! We will be back!
