The worst restaurant I’ve eaten at while in Oaxaca. The chicken was raw and nothing was warm. The dessert spread was horrible. Really wish we would have taken our 400 pesos to a nice taqueria, instead. The only reason we stopped at this place was because our tour guide brought us here.

7 varieties of moles.
I came to Oaxaca wanting to try varieties of moles and they all seven on the buffet at La Choza.
This is colorful and bold buffet restaurant. It has lots of atmosphere and very good food. Bold and brash . . . and delicious.

Price is only 200 peso for the buffet. Lots of choice. Fresh ingredients. Friendly staff. Not to be missed. Might be busy with tour buses in but we were lucky and it was not too busy.

Our day tour stop here to have late lunch buffet. Nice mole and chicken & ribs, dessert also is decent!
A lot of options. 150 pesos (around 8 euro) a person. Can’t complain.

Great selection of moles and Oaxacan specialties served in a bright, clean, charming setting. Buffet food was served piping hot with tortillas right off the griddle. Yum.

Local Mexican food, all you can eat buffet. There are salads, rice, beans, mole, quesadillas, meat, pork, chicken in December ways. It was fine. However only cash accepted (pesos) so make sure you have enough for all your family members.

The food and variety were fabulous. However, be aware that they are a cash-only business. Luckily we had enough cash in hand to pay for the five in our party. They also tend to get very busy at times due to the tour busses that arrive with large groups.

Their buffet is currently open again, and is a large buffet usually used as a stop for the two of us is headed to the waterfall, but anyone can stop there. Lots of variety, including a nice mole negro on their buffet.
