Omg this food was off the chain first time trying this place. I am Sicillian The manager is awesome. Everyone is awesome. The food is outstanding. You have to try the lasagna and the bread and the baked tomato bisque. Not only that I ordered a pizza to go because I heard the pizza was in the magazine. It’s absolutely yummy in the tummy. That’s the best words I can get for this place. I’ll definitely will be back and it’s not even that expensive. I’ve lived here 24 years and never been to this place a day in my life my first time it was a great experience.It was a great experience ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Absolutely a wonderful restaurant.. I had a chicken liver with mushroom appetizer which melted in my mouth… The haystack onion rings were incredible.. the grilled pork chops where tender and tasty… Is Spadina he had was awesome…. We had enough leftovers for a total complete meal… We had the flourless torte for dessert… It was very rich but very delicious… I didn’t get pictures of all the food but the Christmas decorations were really beautiful inside and out…

What a great pizza…again. A well made thin crust pizza. I am usually a Sausage, Mushroom & Onion person, however, I decided I didn’t want the veggies to interrupt the great flavor of the sausage, so mine was Cheese & Sausage. The sausage recipe is spot on. Perfection! Not only that, the seasoned oven gave the entire pizza a flavor that can’t be duplicated. A smoky burn flavor that really enhanced the pizza!! Hard to describe, easy to taste! Attached is my wife’s favorite Chicken Marsala! Yes, not needed, but I did order extra sausage. Milwaukee should be proud of such a great tasting pizza. So delicious!

OMG, so good!!!! Best fried eggplant I have had in YEARS. I need to go back, so many things I want to try. We had the eggplants strips, Balistreri’s bread and the white pizza. Godere! Deliziosa!

In town visiting family and they insisted we try this place(it’s their favorite pizza spot). Pizza was very good. Service was great even with them being pretty packed. Would definitely come back next time we are in town

The service was amazing! Candy our server was great and so attentive. The food was outstanding as well. Pictured below was chicken marsala & linguine with fresh clams. Both were so delicious! We couldn’t get enough of the fresh bread either. Definitely will be back to try more of the menu. Thanks for a great night

We were s table of 3. My partner and I took my step dad out. Absolutely beautiful atmosphere. Lovely bartender, she is a doll. Love her. Our dinner was amazing, our waitress Tiffany, incredible. She sang to my step dad. One of the best experiences. Bravo! Tiffany is amazing. We enjoyed ourself so much. I requested her agun and took my mom to meet her. I will always request her. The food is amazing. Thank you so much for a wonderful experience

Unfortunately, the food, especially the pizza, was very disappointing. They present themselves as an Italian restaurant, but the pizzas are far from authentic. Honestly, they were some of the worst pizzas I’ve ever had, completely lacking flavor.
A margherita pizza with large slices of raw tomato is not a margherita, and serving white bread with sesame seeds in an Italian restaurant is very questionable. It has nothing to do with real Italian food.
It’s a shame because the atmosphere and service are great, but the food does not match the experience. With better pizzas, this place could have a lot of potential.

Old school Italian restaurant that’s been an area favorite for generations. The menu has all of the classic Italian entrees, well prepared and with good ingredients. A standout is the beef lasagna – flavorful and moist without using excess ricotta. They are also well known for their thin crust pizza, but the wait may be long on a Friday or Saturday night. (If you’re just looking for their pizza, order carry out from their other location). The ambiance is perfect for a romantic first date with many paintings, seasonal decorations and other items of visual interest. The acoustics are good, allowing easy conversations while you dine. They have many tables for two, but can accommodate large parties as well. While the restaurant is large, it is sectioned into multiple rooms and feels cozy and warm. They have a great, wooden, wrap around bar area that is perfect for eating, people watching and striking up conversations with others. There is also a large, well decorated outdoor deck for alfresco dining, weather permitting. The service was friendly and good, but expect a leisurely experience and probably not ideal for a “dine and dash” to a show or concert. Due to the old building constructed on multiple levels, it may not be best for those who require mobility assistance.

The salmon was wonderful, carbonara also one of the best we’ve had. Was fun to see the beautiful holiday decorations. But really I wanted to call out the amazing service we had by Jackie B! I loved that she greeted us and spoke throughout the service in Italian! Was so helpful with entree choices, suggestions and explained everything well.
