Milpitas Buffet is exactly what you hope for when you walk into a seafood buffet — and it delivers perfectly. The selection is huge, with so many dishes that it’s hard to even decide where to start. Everything is fresh, flavorful, and well prepared. The seafood section is the star, and the crab legs are a must-try — grab them while they’re hot, because they taste amazing and go fast. I also appreciated how clean and well maintained the place is, which makes the whole dining experience even better. The staff is attentive and quick to refill trays, so you never feel like you’re missing out on something. There’s plenty of variety beyond seafood too, so everyone can find something they like. For the price, the value is more than fair considering the quality and freshness of the food. Milpitas Buffet has quickly become one of my favorite spots, and I’ll definitely be coming back again and again. Highly recommended!

Lunch is very average. Nothing really stood out for me, but its good for a large meal at reasonable price with family. Mongolian grill is the highlight

Milpitas Buffet offers a wide range of Chinese, seafood, and grill items, with crab legs and Mongolian BBQ as standouts. Sushi is basic but fresh, and the dessert bar is surprisingly varied. Quality can be hit-or-miss depending on the time of day, but turnover is fast and dishes stay stocked. It’s a solid value for large groups, especially during lunch hours. The dining area gets crowded, but seating turnover is quick.

Service is minimal but efficient, with staff focused on clearing tables and refilling trays. Parking can be tight, so arriving early helps avoid delays. The atmosphere is casual, with background music and bright lighting. It’s not a destination buffet, but it delivers on volume and variety. For families or casual meetups, it’s a practical and satisfying option.

Super bad dining experience. A waitress named Annie is short and chubby with glasses. When we continue to eat after paying the bill, she helps us clean up the food residue on the table, and even verbally abuses (she thinks we didn‘t hear it). Do we pay the bill in advance and pay a high tip, so we can only change Do you want this kind of service? When I gave feedback to the person in charge of the restaurant (a male waiter at the front desk), his attitude was equally bad.

They have a huge variety of seafood such as crabs, mussels, shellfish, sushi, etc.. I didn’t get to take pictures or record videos since it was lunchtime. It was packed, so I wasn’t able to showcase all their food. They have a salad bar, various fresh fruits, and a hibachi grill, too.

Overall, everything was delicious! The Chinese food was pretty good also.

This place has pretty average food, it’s like any old fashioned buffet you’d find in a little town.
The Hawaiian chicken, frog legs, chow mein, bok choy, broccoli beef, and the mussels were the highlight of my meal. Everything else didn’t stand out in terms of flavor.
Service is minimal, but they do pay attention to clearing plates out and getting drinks.
Also, there’s mold on the food labels.
Overall, it was a pretty average dining experience, giving this one a 3.5/5

There are not many buffets in the South Bay Area, Tomi Sushi, Hokkaido and Milpitas buffet. These are the 3 that I know.
This place is often packet during the weekend. It’s also a bit tight as they try to squeeze as many people as allowed.
Food wise, it’s not Vegas. Want some raw or cooked oysters, crawfish, crabs, chicken feet, clams, mussels, then come here. There are also “American food” like pizza, a few dim sum items and of course sushi. Overall a lot of choices and if you want choices then this is the place.

Honestly would not eat here again and would not recommend the service is great but the food however could have some improvement. They did not have a large selection of food nor did the food tasted fresh. It tasted like it had been cooked in used oil even the sushi tasted old. Most of the food really lacked flavor, very bland. This place is way overpriced for the quality of food they offer here. The service was great very friendly attentive people but need to look into
Revising their menu for the price they charge for each person.

Last weekend rolled around and we decided to check out Milpitas Buffet because it was one of those days that we just wanted an old school buffet so here we were.

The line outside and inside were crowded and there were a lot of people. The ambiance was mediocre although the chair was very comfortable. Now, let’s get into the juicy part of the review, FOOD!

If you are a fan of Chinese food or just anything cooked, I think you’ll be surprised at how decent they are. I get it, people flame this place for not having the best food around but then let’s get real, the price is extremely low for a buffet and you really get what you pay for.

We did have some California roll and a piece or two of sushi, let’s just say that I would recommend sticking to the cooked food.

The selection of fruits are decent, the desert was okay, but they do provide frozen yogurt which is nice. Drinks are extra, so do keep that in mind if you do check this place out.

3 out of 5 in my book. Not the best, but let’s say that I may come back if I feel like Chinese buffet again. Would I recommend it? I think I would only if you put in the perspective to food you get vs they cost. You won’t be blown away by any food but you’ll get more than enough for what you were originally gonna eat.

Solid stable and affordable buffet in Milpitas. The food is great. The staff are incredible. For dining your way, give Milpitas Buffet a try. Lunch buffet is a bargain with all the Japanese, Chinese, Italian, Asian, and of course American food you can eat. The dinner buffet tops it off with coconut shrimp, beef ribs, and Korean short ribs. Thursday night was a pleasurable experience with half the restaurant full with space to sprawl out. Parking is perfect within a strip mall and you are able to get other items you may need for your home as well. Plenty of gas stations and even a car wash around the corner.
