Don’t mind the 4 stars. The place is actually really good. I didn’t want to be super unrealistic. HOWEVER, The food? The food is good. I definitely encourage you to try it for yourself. I’m New to the area, and I’m a super foodie and decided to try this place. I was pretty impressed. I thought the food was really good. It was prepared in a timely manner. You can tell it wasn’t just sitting out. I had the Carne Asada fries and Quesabirria tacos… That was a lot of food so I definitely had leftovers for the next day. The side was avocado was super fresh. Overall, I enjoyed it and would definitely go back.

I stopped by here when I was passing by with my husband. We were a little hungry and wanted to eat lightly. The parking lot is located on the premises of the store, so there are many people coming and going. I ordered two each of the recommended pork taco and beef tacos in the store. Quick service and easy menu here. You can get water in the self-service area. The interior of the store is casual and lively. And the tacos we ordered were delicious, especially the pork and so reasonable prices here. Highly recommend here.

Unbeatable variety and exceptional flavor, food served quickly as it’s ready and always fresh and flavorful. Casual and welcoming vibe, and every worker has been consistently friendly, efficient, and helpful! I’ve been several times with friends and we’ve tried about every option on the menu with no misses, would reorder/enjoy/recommend every one. Fun snack options you don’t necessarily see in every local grocery store to browse if there’s a short wait to order. Excellent value for money and has way more variety than smaller Bellingham location can offer, absolutely worth the drive!

Great asada tacos. We generally get 4 or 5 and add a chicken burrito which is substantial and tasty. They have a green sauce and red sauce both are good. The dining area inside is very nicely done. Definitely our favorite spot for South of the border goodness

We stopped at Tacos Tecalitlan on our way back from Sedro-Woolley, and I’m really glad we did. What a great place. The food was excellent, the atmosphere was welcoming, and you can tell there’s a lot of pride behind what they do.
I learned that they originally operated out of just a taco truck, which honestly makes it even more impressive to see them now running a full-scale restaurant. That kind of growth doesn’t happen without consistently good food and community support, and it shows.
I ordered the quesabirria, and it absolutely did not disappoint. Rich, flavorful, perfectly cooked, and satisfying in that way where you’re already thinking about when you can come back for it again.
If you’re anywhere nearby, this spot is 100% worth the stop.

Simply great tacos. I wish I lived near by to get it more often. But when we drive by the restaurant we always stop by. Price is very reasonable and extremely friendly staff.

Sit outside, they have a lovely patio with tons of flower baskets and it smells so good! Our food was affordable and very tasty and filling. I highly recommend you don’t sleep on this one. They even have a veggie burrito that is automatically vegan so I didn’t have to ask for changes. The service was very friendly and fast. This is a local and community favorite!

Tamales were tasty. Mulitas with pork, good. Nachos with carne asada very tasty. Pozole decent but needed oregano and a bit more depth of flavor (and one of the better pozoles I’ve had in the area). Their taco sauces are REALLY GOOD. Overall, one of my favorite taco spots in the area so far.
Two things.
1. Please make sure you have enough staff to take orders from both the outside and inside. Someone was trying to go back and forth between them on a Friday night during dinnertime. It was a frustrating experience. Hopefully just a one time thing, but guessing that’s SOP.
2. What’s up with their parking lot? Do they share it with another business? Because their lot is ALWAYS full, even if the restaurant isn’t that busy. Kept me from trying this place a few times. (My mobility is limited so having parking is important to me.)
Otherwise good food and I’ll be back.

Dined in ordered 7 tacos of asada and 1 beer came out to $22. Taco’s were great give them a solid 8.9 asada meat was very well portioned with great flavor,tortillas were good as well tacos come with cilantro and raw onion. Green salsa is offered upon request on a hotness level from a 1-10 being the hottest it would be a 3 but with good flavor nice touch to the tacos. Would totally recommend if you’re in the area and looking for some good well rounded mexican tacos.
