During our stay in Edinburgh, my wife and I craved some Asian food, and Wagamama had good reviews, so we gave it a try. It did not disappoint. The restaurant was pretty packed when we arrived, which I took to be a good sign. The food was very tasty and arrived quickly. The prices were reasonable. We enjoyed two entrees, an appetizer, and some drinky drinks. We left Wagamama feeling quite satisfied. So if you’re looking for a break from the traditional British food, this is a good option.

Haven’t visited a wagas in a while and this was a really great experience. Our server was David who was a really nice lad, and the rest of the staff were really super. Despite it being a busy Friday evening we got our food very quickly and we were looked after very well.
We loved the hot honey fried chicken which we had with the yuzu dip.
Another highlight was the desserts, the ‘bao nut’. We tried the ube and cherry and the chocolate and matcha, both were AMAZING and vegan as well!
Highly reccomend this location 10/10

Got a take away dinner from here after a visit from Edinburgh Castle.
Restaurant was quiet when i visited,only few customers were dining in.Resto was clean and well organized,also friendly and nice staff.
I ordered tofu curry,gyoza and sautéed green veggies with a bursting flavor and so tasty,good packaging as well to keep the food hot especially while walking on a cold weather like this.
Will definitely try the other dishes next time.

I really had to wait for 45 mins just to have 2 ramen . I genuinely feel the pork in the ramen was not fresh. Honestly, taste wise didn’t live up to the authenticity, which you would not expect with this price tag. Definitely the location is big plus. And convenient for kids.
A nice kid menu. However, the chicken noodles quantity was too little for a 3 years old. Tables near the window was a big plus. They also have Blue Light discount. Which is 20%. Not bad.

The place was almost empty when we visited, so the food arrived quite quickly. The staff were friendly and polite, which I appreciated. I ordered the chicken and prawn noodles, asking for them to be well cooked. However, it felt like the chicken (and even the prawns) might have been pre-cooked rather than freshly made, which gave me the impression that it wasn’t as fresh as I would have expected. Maybe that’s just how it was prepared, but it didn’t wow me.
Overall, it wasn’t a bad experience, just not one that stood out. I feel like you can find this type of food in many other places too. Perhaps it just wasn’t to my personal taste.

Difficult choice to rate 3 stars only, as everything was good. The service, the atmosphere in the restaurant and the food as well. It’s just compared to the other option for Vietnamese/Asian cuisine it left us wishing for something a bit more/better. One big advantage is that it is open longer and offers a lot more space than other restaurants with a similar food offer.

We were served by a few of the staff this evening and the whole team were super attentive, helpful, and kind to us. We had a few things we wanted to change with the food that we ordered and everyone, especially Devidas, was very helpful in correcting these issues. Soti was very welcoming and ensured we had everything we needed throughout our experience.
Simon is relatively new and seemed very confident with all his help. He was very friendly and made sure that we received everything that we ordered.

Lovely food, the menu is not too big not too small, lovely service and ambience. Nice vibe overall, music at the perfect volume. And loved the open kitchen. Can’t wait to be back already!
