My fiancè and I came here to eat last weekend and we had an amazing experience. The food was delicious and very reasonable in price. Ron was our waiter and he was very friendly, constantly checked on us despite the restaurant being busy, and gave us amazing service. Will definitely be visiting more often after this visit.

Ordered the Hearty Man’s Combo and honestly it was super fulfilling — hit the spot and definitely satisfied my appetite. Only downside was the atmosphere. The kitchen music was pretty loud, and the lobby itself was quiet with no music or TV on, so it felt a little awkward. Food was great though.

Great food and great people. Have always passed this restaurant and have noticed they were always busy, which to me is a good sign. My husband and I decided to try on Sunday morning and was very impressed. He got the breakfast skillet, and I got the sirloin with scrambled eggs and hash browns with pancakes. Very good and hot when served. Awesome staff and couldn’t pass up the bakery they have. It’s so good and a great variety of baked goods. It was very hard to decide, but I chose the Hawaiian muffin. Great choice, and I can’t wait to go back and try lunch.

I had the California Avocado Benedict. It was pretty good. Just wish it had come out hotter. My hash browns were cold and the eggs with hollandaise sauce. Service was a little slow but the atmosphere was good.

Well I was pleasantly surprised with the level of service I received today. The young lady I speak of is Amira W. She was exceptional in how she displayed amazing customer service. From start to finish, her pleasant attitude was Phenomenal. She was quick and friendly. I was so amazed with her and wanted to share this with management because she deserves to be recognized for providing wonderful service. Thank you very much! All the restaurant industry should train their servers to be like Amira.

I’ve lived in Summerville my entire life. I’m 32 years old. And I just found out I have been SLEEPING on Perkins. Last night we wanted something different, and the restaurant selection in Summerville on the Trolley Road side is limited. I finally remembered a Perkins exists, and though I hadn’t eaten there in two decades, we pulled in. I had the Build your own breakfast- grits with cheese, sausage patties, and scrambled eggs- incredibly good. Ten minutes later I moved in on the 3 stack pancakes. They were golden brown with a little crisp to it, and after ten minutes they were still steaming hot. Felt like a Saturday morning at your grandparents house in 1998- but it was 6:30pm on a Friday in 2026. I took a slice of pie home as well and it was to die for. Fed two adults and one child last night for $43 before the tip. I can’t express how impressed I was, and I can’t WAIT to go back.

We were very excited, didn’t know they had a Perkins in the South East Needless to say this place slaps like the locations in the North East. We got sat down right away and the food was hot. I decided to go to Perkin’s today since I haven’t been there in many years. I ordered the French toast and was disappointed that it didn’t taste good at all. I’m thinking they may use the same grill to cook everything and it wasn’t cleaned well. My French toast had an odd taste, almost like fish. Luckily my daughter enjoyed her pancakes and I was happy about that. I wouldn’t recommend getting the French toast, as I was very disappointed.

It has been years since we have been back to eat here and it was as great as always. Staff was as friendly and welcoming. Muffins are to die for and food is always excellent. We miss our weekend breakfast at Perkins.
