My husband and I have never eaten here but were excited to try because of their good ratings. We ordered ramp burgers, porky cheese fries and banana pudding (no picture).
The banana pudding was delicious. I wish I had ordered more. Porky cheese fries were a large portion and plenty of pork on top. Very good flavor. The ramp burger is what we were looking forward to the most but was underwhelming. The burger was very dry and partially burnt. The ramp spread on the burger had a somewhat dry, pasty texture to it. I wanted to love this burger, but did not.
We will definitely try this place again, but will pass on the ramp burger.

Very friendly staff and the food came out quick and fresh. I got the pulled pork sandwich which was great. My friend got the brisket sandwhich, which he said was very good. I also liked the cole slaw, which I often don’t like at other places. I will go back for more!

The sides were the strongest feature of our meal (French fries, baked beans, and green beans). But the BBQ sauce for the brisket was very good, too. We were just traveling through, so we may be spoiled by the offerings of Ohio, Georgia, and NC (aka, I don’t think WV is “known” for BBQ), but it filled a need for sustenance.

Whenever I call to place a to go order, the people are pleasant and polite. The food is well prepared and I think their prices are very reasonable compared to competitors who may charge upwards of $16-18 for burgers. I enjoy the firecracker fries which are very seasoned / include ranch and the blue cheese burger.

We’ve never had a bad experience with Ridge View, so when they posted that they were going to be having smoked meatloaf, we knew we had to try it. I’m really glad we did, because it is amazingly good. The smoke adds a great layer of flavor to the meatloaf that I never would have considered. It’s great on its own or in a sandwich. We got 2 of the sandwiches from Ridge View and a full loaf and we’ve been making meat loaf sandwiches non stop. Definitely recommend.

We ordered two kid’s chicken tender meals, two brownies and one pulled bbq chicken sandwich with coleslaw and a side of fries. Everything was delicious especially the brownies if you have a sweet tooth.

The staff was very friendly and the service was prompt. However, our dining experience was disappointing due to the quality and taste of our food. The pulled pork and baked beans had a very odd taste. The brisket was low quality, dry and fatty with absolutely horrible sauce. Oh and the “sweet tea” wasn’t even sweet. We would never go back.

You’ve got to eat here ! Food was awesome. I had the 4 bone ribs and my wife had the thick cut bologna sandwich. Everything was hot and delicious. Limited parking so get there early, you won’t be disappointed.

My family wanted to have this for the WVU game Saturday so we picked up trays of the pulled pork, buns and sides of Mac and cheese, baked beans and spinach dip on Friday (they are closed on Saturday). We heated it the next day and it was so delicious! I had never had food from here before and I think it was the best bbq I’ve ever had! My entire family loved it!

Not being from the area, I had called to see if I would be able to place an order knowing they were close to closing. No problem! I was there by 7pm, order ready an I have to say it was AMAZING!!
