Visited this location to celebrate Valentine’s Day & my birthday on 2/15- Markus was a great bartender & server! Him and the rest of the staff celebrated us in a way that was not over the top or showy. The food was hot & tasty, we will definitely be back soon!

It was okay. The food was okay. The staff…barely saw the waitress and we had like 4 people serve the food. Our appetizers came out after our food. Not worth the price honestly. I would rather go somewhere else for good quality seafood.

Hubby took me here for my birthday dinner. Marcus the bartender was super nice and funny. He made a great Smoked Old Fashioned. I had the Lobster, Shrimp and Salmon. Absolutely delicious! The manager Tyra heard it was my birthday and came to our table to wish me happy birthday. We will definitely be back soon!

I decided to give Red Lobster in Owings Mills another try, especially with the buzz around new leadership under the new CEO. The experience was a bit of a mixed bag, but with promise.
Walking in, the décor hasn’t changed much—it still looks and feels like it did 20 years ago, and the lighting is quite dim, which could use a refresh. That said, the restaurant was clean, and the classic lobster tank in the foyer was a nice nostalgic touch.
We were greeted promptly by the hostess, though she struggled to seat our party of three despite the restaurant not being busy at all. Once seated, it took about 15 minutes for our waiter to approach. He was subtly friendly, but the energy throughout the staff felt slow—like everyone was moving in slow motion.
Now, the food? Solid. I ordered the Ultimate Feast, and everything was delicious and served hot. The cheddar bay biscuits were as iconic as ever, and the margarita flight was the unexpected standout—it truly stole the show!
Overall, I enjoyed the food and ambiance enough to return—especially to try the new seafood boil that’s been added to the menu.
To the new CEO: There’s definitely potential here. I’d recommend focusing on service timing and staff engagement. A little more energy and promptness would really elevate the dining experience.
Looking forward to seeing the improvements unfold!

It took a while to even be greeted, as well as seated. It took a long time for our waitress to come to the table to introduce herself and bring us biscuits and drinks. Then, she took long bringing EVERYTHING, including our alcoholic beverages. And then, to top it all off, she brought our food from the kitchen, sat it on the table behind us, then walked away to print out another table’s bill. Our mashed potatoes weren’t cooked completely. Just a bunch of young kids not able to provide good, quality service. The hostess was great though! She was kind and extremely helpful. I will continue to go to the White Marsh location.

First of all I want to say this I am a loyal customer been coming here for years with me and my girls. But I must say when me and my 10 year old daughter came here tonight on February the 15th 26. The waiter that waited on us at first his name is Marcus he’s so damn nasty and rude. His customer service is nasty. He kept running off his mouth about me to other employees. I was about to approach him but I kept calm and peaceful. Because my daughter was right there. So I didn’t say anything didn’t want to make things worse and front of my daughter. But I told the manager about the waitress name Marcus about his poor customer service. He was so rude and nasty. That he made my 10 year old daughter feel uncomfortable. The manager he was so nice made me and my daughter feel very comfortable. Because of how the waiter name Marcus of how he treated me. The Manger turn it to positive energy of making me and my daughter feel very comfortable and also he took $20 off my bill. That was nice of him. But yeah the manager have a great personality and I like how he made me and my daughter feel very comfortable after that rudeness and nasty waiter name Marcus. Someone needs to teach him of how to deal with customers without being nasty and rude. That’s his Job if he can’t handle customers without being rude and unprofessional. He doesn’t need to be a waiter. Because he has to deal with the public with tough situations. Myself and my 10 year old daughter felt very uncomfortable of how my daughter seen of how I were treated tonight. Poor customer service/ Unprofessional/ and rudeness and nasty. Waitress Marcus.

I haven’t been to Red Lobster in years. I’ve heard that since the new CEO took over and upgraded the menu, things are better. So, I walked into this location and noticed that not much had changed. The atmosphere was typical. I stood there for about four minutes before being seated. The restaurant was like a ghost town. I counted five tables where people sat. There were a couple of folks at the bar. The bartender actually told me that someone would be with me shortly.
Once the hostess came, she greeted me and escorted me to my table. It was then that the server, Cornelius, came to the table, greeted me, and immediately asked what I wanted to drink and whether I knew what I wanted to eat. I told him I just sat down and haven’t even looked at the menu. So, I ordered my drink.
Once he brought my drink, he asked if I knew what I wanted. So, I ordered the mozzarella cheese sticks, a Caesar salad, and Cajun chicken alfredo. I must admit, most of what I ordered tasted great. I didn’t care for the mozzarella cheese sticks, though. They were very chewy, and something was missing. The marinara sauce was slightly watery and didn’t really have that cling to the mozzarella sticks like I was used to. The biscuits were definitely different, and I didn’t like them. I remember them being bigger, and it was one of the main reasons I used to go to Red Lobster. They’re thinner and lack the fluff they used to have. You’d better make sure you have your drink so you can swallow them.
My server, Cornelius, kept coming to the table to see if I needed anything or to collect the dishes. He continued to reach across me without warning. He stated he likes to clean as he goes. I thought that was weird, but I didn’t make an issue of it. He was a little annoying, but he was nice overall. I might go back at some point, but no time soon.

Went here for the first time and had Huston as our server. I must say he was a 10/10 — so incredibly kind and attentive! The food was delicious, and the service made the experience even better. Can’t wait to come back and see him again. Truly a great food and service experience! Thank you Houston!

Fortunately at 5:45pm I was able to make a last minute reservation for 4 (2adults, 1 kid, 1 baby) at 6:15pm slot on Valentines Day right before they cut off reservations because it was so crowded, so we didn’t wait to be seated. But they were packed, at one point the lobby area looked like the line at a club. Nonetheless, our waitress Erissa was great even with them being crowded. It took about a hour for our food to come out but that was understandable as they were busy…however the food was hot and everything tasted good. I had ordered a drink from the bar and the first time it came out there was a very clear lip stain on the glass, and it didn’t taste like there was any alcohol in it… so I sent it back and asked for a sprite instead. Erissa returned with a freshly made drink instead and said the manager insisted that it be taken off the check and a new one made…I appreciated that so much cause this one definitely had alcohol in it. Overall, great service and food, even with them being so busy I don’t have any true negative comments. Keep it up Owings Mills Red Lobster!!

A thoroughly disappointing experience overall, but to start with the positives, the server was very nice and accommodating and the booths were well padded… sadly, that’s where the positives end.
The temperature in the building was far too cold for winter. We asked to change seats immediately because they had cold air blasting on us and it was still chilly where we moved to.
Our food took a while to arrive, but this is hardly a criticism. I think there was only 1 cook back there since the staffing was extremely bare bones.
The food was incredibly disappointing. We ordered 3 different pastas and all of them were too salty and arrived at room temp, so they got cold quickly. The crab pasta (forgot the name) was so bad that we had to send it back. It tasted like they poured ocean water into it, very very fishy/brine-y. Even the desserts were just ok with the brownie and cake both being a little too crumbly/dry.
It’s a shame that the Olive Garden next door left and this establishment remained. It had its’ issues but at least the pasta was decent.
