Solid place. The 4.5 avg is about right. I was solo, so sat at the bar. The service was excellent. The food was very good and the atmosphere was nice. Definitely more than I expected. The menu was a single page with enough of a selection.
I had the Delmonico steak and it was cooked nicely and had good flavor. The baked potatoe was decent size.
The place was sort of expensive but it is a steakhouse. They offer a side of pasta with the steak but charge full price to sub the potato.
A drink + a glass of wine with dinner was $80. Not complaining bc if you want good food and good service, you will pay for it.

My spaghetti was absolutely perfect. It was simple but still held that rich flavor and texture, and was done exactly the way it should have been. My boyfriend devoured his steak and couldn’t stop talking about how good it was. What we loved the most was the atmosphere. Eating in such a beautiful, calming space made the whole experience feel so much more special, like the kind of dinner you want to slow down and savor. We can’t wait to go back!

Long drive day, perfect spot for a great meal cooked to perfection. A great wine selection as well. Had an amazing server in MacKenzie. Perfect booth and just really a nice dinner. Will definitely make an effort to make it back.

Been a year since been back here. I will say the first time was amazing everything was perfect. This time around not so much.
Mozzarella triangles had no taste at all. Little on the burnt side. Could be why had no taste cause was burnt off. Wasn’t that warm either. Utica greens horrible. Those as well had no taste either. I couldn’t even finish eating it. Felt like had to throw up from eating it. Just horrible. I would rather go to tonys pizza and get greens and pay a lot less for them. They know how to make them.
Lasagna was alright. Meat had good taste to it, but little to much meat thats all can taste.
Husband had veal he said was good but his lobster was well done like asked for. . Over all was ok not.really much on the menu to pick from alot of stuff had mushrooms in it. I would come back and try again hopefully taste better next time.
Prices a little much. I’ve gone to other place with bigger portions and less pay.

Great Italian spot in the heart of Utica. Great for small and large parties. Food was excellent the calamari was great so were the loaded nachos. The Martini were great. Lasagna was amazing. Portions are large. Definitely worth a visit

I have been to Delmonico’s several times and usually have a wonderful experience. However, I went earlier this week with a good friend and my husband who had never been there before. My husband had the salmon, which he said was delicious. My friend had the Chicken Sinatra, which looked fantastic and she said was also amazing. The portion size was unbelievable.
I had the entree salad with the filet tournedos. I ordered the filet medium and they arrived well done, no pink, and dry as shoe leather. I ordered the salad in order to not feel guilty about the cheesecake I planned to order. I’d had the strawberry cheesecake a few weeks earlier and couldn’t wait to try it again. The choices were amaretto and tiramisu cheesecake but they had run out of both, sadly.
Our server was lovely and the atmosphere was outstanding. Unfortunately the food was not the quality we’ve come to expect.

Visit 1: What an awesome experience. Great atmosphere, great food, great staff. Will definitely be going back and trying the other locations!
Visit 2: Downgrading previous review from 5 to a 4. Our first experience was amazing which makes tonights experience frustrating. Walked in – got seated – got ignored. Another table got seated after us and had a number of staff come over to chat with them… take their drinks and apps while we got ZERO service. This experience alone I would rate way lower than a 4 but the first experience was so good I am only lowering it by 1. We got up and left and not one staff member we walked past said a thing. Very disappointing visit.

Love this place and I HIGHLY recommend that you visit it. In fact, I had my wedding reception here. I recommend that you try the chicken Parm and the lasagna. They’re excellent! The bread and the canollis are also outstanding! The Utica Greens are just average and the Delmonico streak can be VERY fatty.
