After entering and being seated after my friend had tripped over a loose tile on the floor that they knew about, but did not put a cone or even a table so people would not trip and get hurt.. After being seated, I used the ladies room which was dirty and one still only had toilet paper… Then back to the table server was nice.. I could see the kitchen from where I was sitting when the food was up. It sat there while the server was doing other things and eating. I’m thinking blueberries out of the thing with her hand .. Ignoring the food up on the warming station.. When she finally brought her food, my food was cold, and when I said it was cold, she took it back and put it in the microwave and brought it back out.. My friend had a roast beef melt, which was shredded beef that look like that was stuck at the bottom of the pan. It was burnt and she couldn’t eat it…. I ordered a breakfast and it was the Berry banana pancakes that were delivered had no bananas. I didn’t say anything at this point we just wanted to get out… The floors were filthy like they haven’t been cleaned in a week. There was food under my feet, which was not mine. There was food under the tables, even where there wasn’t anybody sitting… From our table, we could hear them in the kitchen and the foul Language people forgetting they’re not at home or at a friends house… The overall experience was horrible. We will not be returning to that particular Denny’s…

Upon arrival, the greeter did not offer a greeting and simply asked for a name, without making eye contact. This initial interaction felt unwelcoming. We were then seated at a booth where the containers holding condiments such as jelly appeared unclean, with visible food residue or buildup.

Our server seemed rushed from the start, speaking to us while already walking away. There was no greeting such as “good morning” or “good afternoon,” and water was not offered. Additionally, another staff member referred to one of our party members as “sweetie,” which felt overly familiar and inappropriate given that we were strangers.

Regarding the food, the experience was disappointing. The toast was dry and cold, resembling stale bread. The eggs, which were ordered over medium, were served well done. The pork sausages were undercooked and pink inside, raising concerns about food safety. Now, my stomach is cramping & might need a visit to the ER. The hash browns, requested crispy, were inconsistently cooked—partly white, partly crispy—and arrived cold. When replacement eggs were brought out, they had an unappetizing yellow ring around them. Lastly, the pancakes with vanilla cream appeared hastily prepared and lacked presentation. Over abundance of coffee was there.

Overall, the service and food quality fell short of expectations, and the experience was not up to standard.

Very sad experience. I tried to order the fish dinner. They were out of fish, fries, onion rings and ketchup!!! Men’s room had no paper towels, ladies room was dirty with a very wet floor. The hash browns that were substituted for fries for my husband tasted like the grill had not been cleaned in a long time; the burger was very greasy. The sausage served with my breakfast for dinner was greasy and under cooked.

I went here on Christmas Eve after church. The parking lot was full but not packed. We walked in, 2 of us, and was created with “how many? There’s a wait. No I don’t know how long” I looked around there was 3 tables with people eating. About 15 other people waiting. I said okay. We’ll wait too. I used the restroom. When I left the restroom a girl told a boy “someone complained about the ladies room. Please go clean it” he assumed it was me and came at me “is it you that complained?” And was very aggressive about it. The girl steps in and said “it wasn’t her. This was hours ago. Just go check it.” He walked in. The door never shut. He walked out and said “it’s fine. They’re stupid” 10 minutes go by and 2 tables leave. No one’s been seated yet. A group of about 5 leave with complaints of wait time. 5 more minutes and more leave. The last table with service leaves. There’s now 1 bus boy cleaning and about 9 service members just standing there complaining about the customers walking in the door. I was there a total of 18 minutes. Empty tables, rude employees, filthy bathroom. From my waiting point of view Kitchen was atrocious. We all left. This was at like 7:30pm. I heard others tell someone “they don’t give a wait time because they don’t plan on seating you” to another customer walking in.

This location really struggles with manpower. I only come in here every 6 months or so, but every time I do, employees are running around stressed, annoyed at coworkers walking in late, or just not able to be themselves due to the rush. It’s understandable. They can’t seem to keep this location staffed. Last time I was here, the waitress was the one cooking all the food because the cook didn’t show up.

Please hire more staff this is no way to treat human beings trying to run your business.

Food is usually great every time I’m here. This time it was not. Pictured was Southwest Benny. See how it should look like in the menu. Looks absolutely nothing like it lol. I’ve had it many times.

I don’t usually leave reviews, but I felt the need to do so here! The service was a hot mess! The food was cold. We never got drink refills. The restaurant was really dirty. We have visited in the past… not sure if under new management or what but there is a complete change.

I went here on 11/19/25 at around 11pm. When myself, my fiance and his mother walked in, the hostess was on her phone and it took her maybe 15-30 seconds to notice us. We were then escorted to a booth. As we walked, the tables we saw were dirty, two were not cleaned off, and the floor felt dirty, possibly greasy. When we sat down, the menus we were given were sticky to where we thought there we less pages than what the menus actually had. The hostess I guess was also our waitress because she took our drink orders and when she brought the drinks, she took our orders but didn’t bother writing them down. Our food didn’t come for 30-40 minutes since the order was placed. We were the only people there. The hostess/waitress just stood at the hostess desk on her phone and didn’t bother to clean or anything while we did wait for our food. Once we got the food, my fiancé’s food was wrong and had to be sent back, my fries were barely fries and my sandwich barely had ranch on them and my fiancé mother only ate the scrambled eggs. The whole experience was a mess. Maybe during the day it could be decent but a late night visit is not recommended.

This has been our go to for breakfast for years, but the last few weeks that we have gone, the quality of the meals have been terrible. I don’t know if they have a new cook or what. But they have been out of things and the food when it comes is either cold or not cooked properly.
It’s sad as we are limited in our options for breakfast in Monroeville.
Hopefully they can turn it around. In the meantime, we’re looking around for other places.

Went her around 7pm for dinner and it wasn’t crowded. Still be prepared to wait a little because everywhere is short staffed.

Parking was easy because they have a parking lot.

Ordering was fast, food was good.

Dennys is always great when you don’t feel like cooking.

Would never come here again. The server was the only good part of this experience. They had a meeting of 20 some people in another room who everyone was mainly attending to. Due to that we along with many other people dining there were stuck waiting over an hour for our food to come out mind you the place was pretty empty minus those people and a few others. In total I would say probably 35 people were dining in there idk if they were short staffed on cooks but if a restaurant is not equipped to handle rushes of people then they shouldn’t be open especially not 24 hours. After our food finally arrived our meals were cold and incorrect. Kids Mac and cheese was $8 no side included with that looked like a $1 box of Mac and cheese I could’ve cooked at home. Asked for no onions on a sandwich and received onions on said sandwich. We chose to eat here as it’s close to our hotel and had decent menu prices. I forgot to mention about we had 8 people 3 of which were kids. We arrived at 5 and didn’t leave until after 7 and only 20 mins of that was spent eating what we could stomach to eat. Bathrooms were also dirty. We were not the only ones who complained tonight either.
