Me and my wife went here for lunch and ordered quite a bit. Loved the family ran vibe. The staff upfront was attentive and very friendly. Still seemed to be working out some kinks at the moment we went. We were the only ones in there and even then it took a good amount of time for the food to come up. I ordered the 2 meat combo and added on the jalapeno sausage with brisket Mac and cheese and bbq beans . She ordered the brisket sandwich with waffle fries. Total came out too about 60 all said and done.
The Mac and cheese was good cheesy not dry it was probably our favorite side. The beans were also quite good. The jalapeno sausage was my favorite, It was best I’ve ever had . The brisket man i don’t know it might just be impossible to find big hunks of juicy brisket in Florida. Every restaurant serves it thin and dry unfortunately even here it seems. The ribs were tender and flavorful.I did enjoy them especially with their sweet bbq sauce. Waffle fries had zero i mean absolute not a speck of seasoning on them.
Overall it didn’t wow me like I was hoping but it definitely didn’t disappoint for the most part.
