I had such an amazing experience at Chop Steakhouse & Bar on Wellington! From start to finish, everything was absolutely delicious. I ordered the steak platter and it was cooked perfectly — tender, flavourful, and beautifully presented. Every bite was incredible.
A huge shoutout to our waitress, Chloe. She was beyond amazing — attentive, friendly, knowledgeable, and truly made the entire evening feel special. Her service was flawless and she went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. She has such a warm and professional presence — you can tell she genuinely cares about her guests.
We also had the pleasure of meeting her manager, Olsi, who was equally fantastic. It’s clear the leadership there sets a high standard, and it shows in both the food and the service.
If you’re looking for an outstanding steak dinner with top-tier service, this is the place. Can’t wait to go back!

came here for my anniversary date and we had high hopes but left a bit disappointed. the atmosphere was nice and dark inside. the food on the other hand was mediocre, not the greatest. the service was slow, our waitress was nice when coming over to introduce herself but only checked up on us once the entire meal which i wish she would’ve had a bit better service.
birria spring rolls – although it was not too bad, it was basically just crispy beef and there was not much, 2 pieces cut in half for $17 is quite a stretch. the consomme was a nice touch.
7oz steak – the steak was very small, i’ve ordered 6oz steaks and it’s been way bigger, the steak was cooked perfectly but there was no flavour, same with the veggies it was bland. the mash potato was probably the best on the plate and it was nothing special. got the chimmichurri on the side for $4 extra, not good and very little amount.
ribs – got a full rack but it felt like it was not as much. majority of it was bone and there was not much meat, it was dry and hard as well. the bbq sauce was flavourful.
overall, the food took long to get here around like 30-40 minutes, it was not busy at the time we went, i felt disappointed with the experience on our special night.

We had Kid’s chicken, french onion soup with escargot mushrooms, and steak with baked potato.
Escargot itself wasn’t too flavourful, overpowered by a garlic crumble topping, and soup was a bit bland with not as much cheese or bread as expected, but everything else was great. Service and atmosphere were lovely.

Amazing experience! The service was excellent and attentive. The steak was cooked perfectly, full of flavor, and clearly high quality. Salad and appetizers were perfect. Everything looked just as good as it tasted, from the presentation to the looks of the restaurant. Definitely a place I’d recommend.
