I’ve been wanting to get out here to 407 Bbq for some time, and today was the day. My timing was a little after the lunch crunch, and there were just a few folks already seated. Emma took my order and helped me navigate the menu. I went with the sliced brisket sandwich and half pound to go; unfortunately, they don’t do birnt ends.
The sandwich was absolutely perfect, plain hamburger buns with half pound of beef. The moisture added to the tenderness of each bite, and the seasoning was mild, which allow the beef to shine. Added some pickles and onions to enhance the flavor a touch.
There is plenty of parking, but expect to get dusty if the winds blowing, as the lot is dirt and gravel. Indoor/Outdoor seating, typical rustic look, with law enforcement patches along the walls.
These guys always know the good spots.

If you’re ready to upgrade your barbecue experience and you’re in the Fort Worth area heading toward Denton, Texas. Well you’ll be going in the right direction. This barbecue place took me off guard. ✨ It’s well-designed with plenty of room for people to sit both indoors and outdoors. The menu is very nice, with so many options. The lady at the front counter helped me pick a most magnificent feast. I was very impressed with the brisket. The mac and cheese was okay, but it got better as I ate it. The roasted Brussels sprouts also took me off guard; I really enjoyed them. And of course, on Saturdays, they have Texas Twinkies—you cannot beat that deal! It is so delicious. I cannot wait until I get a chance to come back here again, hopefully during work hours. ⏰ This is just amazing. .

Brisket so tender you can cut it with a fork, Hickory Sausage is tremendous, and get there early for the Meatloaf; it goes quick.
The sides and desserts can’t be done justice in a few words!

We went for my husband’s birthday—it’s always his first choice. I got the beef rib (they are my favorite) and it did not disappoint!!! We also LOVE the Texas twinkies!!! My husband eats BBQ all over Texas and 407 is his overall favorite. The moist brisket is amazing, delicious pork ribs, and the meatloaf is so good. We also love all their sides. There really isn’t anything here we don’t love eating. They have great burgers too!! I didn’t have the best customer service experience last time we went, but this time was wonderful! Brisket here is very delicious, charcoal flavored, soft buttery! Quality of meat is excellent, served really fresh in generous portion. Ribs are okay. Sides are cooked with care, delicious and generous. A real good Texas BBQ experience in Denton county. And their pricing is unbeatable.

I spent $30 for a 2 meat plate and a regular drink. The fry’s were slightly stale, the Mac and cheese is great and the brisket was a little dry and tough… The sausage however was very good and the atmosphere and service were nice.

Highly recommend the one-meat brisket plate with mac and cheese. Or if you’re feeling brave you can go for the two-meat ribs and brisket. Also must try the banana pudding. Very solid lesser-known bbq spot but it’s my go-to since I moved to Texas. Never disappoints.

One of the best BBQ in the DFW area. The meat is very tender and mega flavorful. My wife was very happy with all aspects of this experience. She doesn’t usually eat her own meal because she typically eats of my plate but this time, she ate both hers and mine which is a good sign. Highly recommend, you will not be disappointed.

Just came here for the first time with my husband. We had the boss hog pulled pork sandwiches and they were amazing such a generous portion. We had fried okra which was alright. I had cheesy mashed potatoes which were also alright. My husband had the coleslaw which he said was kinda gross unfortunately. But over all a good experience and we will be returning in the future
