Such a fun way to try different cheeses, and the pairings were all great too! Cheese with a square of clotted cream fudge and cheese on gingerbread were two favourites, interesting combinations and very tasty. The staff were friendly and helpful. It adds up and gets pricey very quickly, but the selection was pretty good and the cheese was all delicious! Will definitely be back to try some more cheese soon

You are only allowed 1hr 15mins which meant we had to leave with nearly a full glass of wine and the place was so busy we had no where to stand or sit. Terrible way to end a unique experience with an excellent waiter. You could tell staff really felt this needed to change. It’s not like they’d loose out, We definitely would have kept spending! Cheese and combos delicious

I love the fact that Pick & Cheese champions an all-British cheese menu. It is a commendable idea, and full points for the variety on offer as well as the novel (at least in the world of cheese) way of serving.
However, I thought the cheeses were not as fabulous as their Continental counterparts. I would have tried about 10 different ones, and whilst all of them were undoubtedly of good quality, I got the feeling that Pick & Cheese have a lot more left to achieve.

One small sore point was that when we approached one staff member as we were entering, and told her we wanted to sit on proper tables (ie not bar stools) as we had children, she suggested we should sit on any of the tables on the food court and order from the takeaway menu (a much-abridged version of the full menu). The right answer, which an enterprising staff member then provided, would have been to direct us to a booth right by the conveyor belt, so we get the full menu as well as a ‘proper sit-in’. Anyway, we got what we wanted.

Not that Pick & Cheese needs my wishes, but I do wish them all the success. Good job, guys!!

We came as a party of two and reserved the Bottomless Cheese experience on a Wednesday. The selection was remarkably versatile, and we appreciated the complimentary water and crackers. However, the service felt a bit rushed, which made the atmosphere slightly less relaxed. The cheese portions on the individual plates were quite large—which can be both a good and a bad thing. While generous, it made it a bit impractical to sample more varieties or finish a cheese you didn’t particularly enjoy.

Pick & Cheese is a fun and truly unique dining experience — imagine a sushi conveyor belt, but instead of nigiri and maki rolls, it’s a parade of beautifully presented British cheeses gliding past your table. Each cheese arrives under a shiny glass-topped dome, clearly labelled with a number and served on colour-coded plates that correspond to different price brackets (white plates cost £X, grey plates £X, and so on).

The variety is impressive: every cheese comes with a thoughtful accompaniment, from chutneys and sweet fudge to crisp biscuits, all designed to enhance the flavours of the cheese. An endless supply of crackers are provided too, so you can build your perfect bite each time.

What makes the experience even better is the commitment to sourcing — all cheeses come from small British producers and the selection depends on availability.

Staff are knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and helpful — plates are cleared quickly and the whole order concept explained if it’s your first time. Your seating area is supplied with tray, napkins, cheese knife, a paper menu and small pencil for you to check off what you ate/make notes , for your reference. A 12.5% service charge is automatically added to the bill.

You can also order items off the menu as per the photo.

The atmosphere is lively, and while walk-ins are sometimes possible, I’d definitely recommend booking ahead to guarantee a spot.

Whether you’re a cheese connoisseur or just curious to try something different, Pick & Cheese is a fun, delicious, and distinct experience that’s well worth a visit.

Pick & Cheese is a very interactive, easy stop if you’re nearby. The conveyor belt setup makes it simple to try a bunch of different cheeses without overthinking it. All the pairings felt fresh and creative, and everything we tried worked really well. It’s a great place to pop in for a quick bite before a late dinner.

Great place for cheese lovers looking to explore UK cheese. Their menu is entirely based on small, regional producers. The plates are super nice, always with some accompaniment that helps enhance the cheese.

After inhaling a barely legal amount of cheese in a short time, we didn’t try anything we didn’t like. Some of the cheeses are very interesting and unique.

For an all-you-can-eat style place, the prices are reasonable. The staff is friendly and attentive, always taking away empty plates or refilling your crackers.

Great environment and fantastic customer service. we used two vouchers which translated to an allowance 16 plates of cheese which also come with a win and endless crackers to pair with the cheese too. It was more than enough and we thoroughly enjoyed our experience!! We especially recommended the goats cheese donut

This is incredible…simply incredible. YO! Sushi, but with cheese. Sit down and crack on. Complimentary unlimited crackers, and each cheese serving comes with an accompaniment. Starting in the top left, I got:

Isle of Mull Cheddar
Cornish Gouda
Cornish Kern
Dazel Ash
Tunworth
Double Gloucester

I have a massive sweet tooth which probably explains why I went for the ones with the dessert-y pairings, but the gouda and fudge was by far my favourite.

My friend of over 10 years said it’s one of the best things I’ve ever done for her, haha.
