We wanted to create a restaurant that represented the great state of Oklahoma. From our food choices to our decor, we feel like we have achieved our goal!The first thing people notice is one of our signature appetizers, the fried deviled eggs! Then the choices for the main course don’t disappoint with our bison meatloaf, chicken fried steak, ribeye, and the classic Okie burger.

First time trying this restaurant and the food is phenomenal! Apparently everyone else thinks so as well. I’ve never seen a restaurant so busy, even accounting for the fact that we went on a weekend. Despite how busy it was, the speed of service was prompt.
I got the fried catfish and my mother got the chicken fried steak. Everything was very good, but the sweet potato fries and carrots were the standouts! Probably the best I’ve had in close to a decade. Prices seemed reasonable for the portion size, around $20 each for the entrees (which should give you leftovers), plus an extra $10 each for dessert, if you decide you want the largest slice of cake you’ve ever seen.

We ordered the sampler appetizer and it was delicious!!! I got the chefs special, ham and grilled cheese with tomato bisque and an extra side which I got grilled zucchini and squash, my husband got the chicken fried chicken with mashed potatoes and Mac and cheese, and my son got chicken tenders and fries. The chicken tenders were huge, my husband’s chicken fried chicken was huge and delicious. All of it was delicious. I also ordered a piece of their butterfinger cheesecake, so good. No complaints. Nice atmosphere. Our server Brooklyn D was wonderful, very on top of it, and it was a busy night. I highly recommend!!!

We ate at a new restaurant today our first time coming and it was DELICIOUS REAL BISON BEEF WE HAD THE OKIE BURGERS, GRILL CLUB , The Sampler with all these delicious sides AND EVERYTHING WAS HUGE AND WE GET TO KEEP THE CUPS AS SOUVENIRS OH WE DEFINITELY WILL BE BACK AND IT’S NOT TO FAR FROM HOME.

I hate to even write this. I been going to the lokal in Yukon for many years and there food has been great and more times than not have got the chicken fried chicken. Well I wanted a good meal so I got what I always do the half chicken fried chicken with mashed potatoes with brown gravy. Well this had to have been the worst meal I have ever got from there. I got the smallest piece of chicken that was so thin and all breading very little meat. I could have got a 3 piece chicken strip from braums and had more meat then what I got for much cheaper. This meal was not worth 14 dollars. To be honest it was a pretty pathetic meal that was way over priced for what I received. Normally when I ordered this same meal it has never disappointed until now. If this is what I will be getting for 14 dollars then I will not be going back there.

When she gave me the gravy I had to put it in the container and when I opened it up I told her that this was less than a chicken tender and that it was not worth 14 dollars and she just said im sorry about that must be you just got a bad portion and that she did not blame me saying she did not think it was worth 14 dollars either. She did nothing more about it. Then when I got home and really looked at the chicken fried chicken it was even worse since it was paper thin and pretty much all breading. I attached the picture of what i recieved for the chicken fried chicken.

Had a work lunch at The Local Yukon, and it was awesome! The atmosphere is cozy and laid-back, perfect for a midday break. The menu had a great variety, and everyone in our group was happy with their food. I went with salmon, and it was fresh, flavorful, and just the right portion.
Service was quick and friendly, which is always a win when you’re on a schedule. Definitely a great spot for lunch—whether you’re working or just hanging out! Would totally come back.

Really good food. Inexpensive. Easy to get on the waitlist before going. Unique menu options. And yes they have Coke products!

I tried the sampler with the fried deviled eggs, pickle fries and mozzarella sticks. The deviled eggs are worth a try, pretty unique!
My bf got a burger and pinto beans. He LOVED them! He even ordered a second helping of pintos! The ambiance is great, and the outdoor seating was perfect since the weather was perfect!
I would really like to try the bison meatloaf! So I think we will visit again!

Fantastic decor and atmosphere. The food selection is very good. A smaller menu but that’s good as it denotes quality over quantity. I’ve been here a couple of times and I’ve enjoyed it every single time I come. Definitely a go-to mainstay eatery in Yukon!

First time to this establishment and I liked it a lot. Wait staff was very attentive and friendly. I ordered chicken fried chicken whole order and couldn’t finish it because it was HUGE. It was probably one of the best if not the best I have ever had with great flavor, a crispy crust and tender white meat. Mashed potatoes and gravy were perfect as well as the crisp okra. I will be back. Highly recommend but bring an appetite. Big plus is the dog friendly patio if your dog is well mannered.
