I was a little apprehensive to eat here because it’s the off season so the place was pretty empty. However, I would even say that added to my experience. The staff is great, super friendly, welcoming and helpful. The food was without flaw, a lot of unique menu options I always appreciate. They have a senior menu which is just adorable and a great idea. Nothing like a wide variety of ice cream too! I hope other people staying at Myrtle will give Friendly’s a chance. The atmosphere of the restaurant is great, too. I am a bit of a germaphobe and had no issue. Very clean, modernized enough without losing any charm, and comfortable. Also may I say, affordable!! I’m a little sad I won’t be back in Myrtle any time soon, I’ll miss Friendly’s!

I have been in Myrtle Beach for 8 days and I’m mad that I waited so long to come to Friendly’s. I wasted so much money on food for okay experience and taste. Definitely should have came here a lot sooner. They have amazing staff and the best tasting food with a phenomenal menu. The prices are the best in town hands down.

Friendly’s is wonderful and it has the best food I’ve ever gone to. I tried the cinnamon Bun Pancakes and I can say it’s far out. And I even had a milkshake before I left and I gotta hand it to you guys the milkshake is the best. I can’t wait to go to Friendly’s again.

I was so excited to go here. Let me start with the good stuff. First, the server was nice. I think her name was Neesha. No complaints on service. Second, the location is great. Walkable distance to a lot of resorts.
The food is where things got choppy. I couldn’t wait to make my own sundae. As you can see from the pics, the sundae came out with no visual appeal. The whip cream and ice cream were already melting. The ice cream did taste fresh, but being semi-melted took away from it.
Then there was the food. First we ordered regular fried shrimp based on the picture in the menu. However, it came out as butterfly shrimp. Just a personal preference, but I don’t like butterfly shrimp so I sent those back. Why advertise a different style in the menu.
The burger was gooood! Loved it. Fries were so-so because they didn’t cone out hot. But again, the burger was so good.
With all that whiplash of good and ok stuff, I’ll say this visit was 3 Stars. I may go back and try it again because I love ice cream.

So to start with the food was GREAT . I had the Mac and cheese burger with waffle fries (waffle fries are 1.50 extra) for appetizer I had fried ravioli. Those were so great .
Now for the service it was so horrible. The girl I had was drunk and everywhere. She kept coming back to the table to keep retaking our order . She took my order 3 times. I then asked the manger to take my order so I know its correct. (The manager was awesome ) . The girl that took my order even dumped my child’s drink on the table. Then wiped it off with her hand. She was all in my face saying she loves me and being loud. It took us a 20 minutes to get our drinks and a hour to get our food . The manager did send her home . After that the service was excellent.

We had such a wonderful experience at Friendly’s. Our server was absolutely outstanding – warm, welcoming, and genuinely caring. From the moment we sat down, she made us feel like guests in her home rather than customers in a restaurant.
What touched me the most was how attentive she was to my daughter, who was tired and a bit fussy at first. Thanks to her kindness and gentle approach, my daughter’s mood completely changed, and soon she was smiling again.
My husband enjoyed a large, delicious ice cream, I indulged in a thick and enormous milkshake, and my daughter had a full meal followed by a delightful ice cream for dessert.
The food was great, but the heartfelt hospitality made the evening truly special. We will definitely be back and recommend this Friendly’s to anyone looking for great food served with genuine warmth.

Great prices, atmosphere, service, and food. We were slightly disappointed that there were some menu items not available but what we were able to order was great. I had a craving for brisket and my tastebuds were very satisfied. The claim stripes were well seasoned and cooked to perfection. The Philly Steak & Cheese had great flavors. The salad was well prepared and the coldslaw was decent. I was also surprised that the French Fries tasted so well. I was too excited about the ice cream that I forgot to take a picture. I will definitely be back to try the breakfast.

We went for desert(Ice cream Sundays) to be exact. We don’t have a Friendly’s in Columbia, SC. The service was good. The place needs updates A.S.A.P. It’s in a good spot so I’m sure they get a lot of foot traffic during peak season. Didn’t try the food so don’t know about that…
