My daughter and I had a wonderful lunch at this establishment today. Our Server Pat was awesome. He was helpful, kind, and knowledgeable! The food was amazing. My daughter and I share the appetizer BLT tots. Her entree was the chicken tenders and tots, and i enjoyed a caesar salad with a well done salmon. It was refreshing to walk into a restaurant and get not only wonderful service but good food. Normally you have to compromise one for the other these days! Not here. too bad we live in Durham, or we would make this a regular spot!! Oh and they had Kendal Jackson. Which is a marvelous wine but not endorsed in a lot of places. So that was a real treat!!

Lady comes home and says I want to take it to this place which I had an amazing experience in all service food and atmosphere, I said OK I’ll give it a try because I’m picky about the places that I’ll eat.
Before I went with her, she went during the day around lunch hour. I decided to go with her one night around 830 to 9ish I wanna say.
I gotta tell you it was not a good experience, it seemed like the staff/girls were more attentive to a table with some guys in front of the fireplace, the food was somewhere burnt, they didn’t check on us and every time I needed something I had to get up, walk to the bar and ask for whatever I need. The whole experience just sucked in general. My lady was disappointed I didn’t have the same experience she did so I told her I’ll give it another try, next time we’ll go during the day.
This experience took place a few months ago, fast-forward to today, Monday, February 2.
I just left the place about an hour ago, and I gotta say my experience changed, it was actually very, very great this time. The service was on point, his name was Pat by the way, the food that I ordered last time was the same as I ordered today and it was not burnt and taste very great, three fish sliders with sweet potato fries.
That’s the experience I was looking forward to, and it was meant today.
I hope the owners take a look at this and maybe meet with the night staff and retrain them.
I don’t wanna go to anyone and recommend this place to them only during day hours for the best experience, the same service should be given at night time.
Anyway, just thought I’d share and only giving this place a four star because of my last experience, how do I not came back? I would’ve gave it to to store.

Never received food after waiting for an hour. Nothing was said to us until we asked. Tried to be patient, but when we asked they told us it was being out together. After five minutes they brought food to two other people that had come in about 20 minutes after us. Don’t understand what happened but won’t be back and will tell everyone about my experience to avoid frustration.

Chicken quesadilla was great, I love sour cream, I wish the peppers in the inside were smaller or cooked down a bit. But 5 stars, they even gave me some caramel syrup for my SWP fries when I asked for something.

We had no idea what type of food we would find, just stumbled in after shopping. Loved the fire going in the fireplace. What a great idea to mix sushi and burgers! We were greeted at the bar by enthusiastic Pat the bartender. We will be coming back!

We arrived just before 12, and the restaurant already had people seated, we sat near the bar and the overhead doors were open giving an outside feel, definitely not to hot. We got an appetizer of chips & dip a good choice to start with, queso was delicious. I got the teriyaki chicken bowl which was great with family getting the sushi who said it too was delicious. Waiter kept outle drinks filled and checked on us routinely to make sure our dining experience was good.

The service was amazing! Our waiter was very attentive from the beginning to the end. I loved the patio vibe, although the yellow jackets ran me inside..lol….it was very nice. The inside vibe was love also. The food was delish, and I can say i will definitely come back. The food was very flavorful!!

I called ahead to ask about accommodations for my partially disabled spouse. Cheryl the manager went to great lengths to make sure we had a table to accommodate him.The server SJ was so friendly and kind to make sure we had everything we needed. The fries were cold and she immediately brought fresh hot fries. They really went above and beyond to make my daughter’s birthday meal memorable. My husband hadn’t been out to eat in several years due to his disability. We will definitely be back. Thank you so much!
