Din Tai Fung in Arcadia consistently delivers the quality and precision the brand is known for.
The space is polished yet welcoming, with an efficient, well-run feel that keeps things moving even when it’s busy. The food is reliably excellent, with careful attention to texture, balance, and flavor.

The baos, wontons, and noodles all stand out, showcasing the restaurant’s strength in classic Taiwanese dishes. The spicy wontons in particular are a must—perfectly tender with just the right level of heat and depth.

A dependable spot in Arcadia for well-executed comfort food that feels refined without being overdone.

I’ve traveled all over the country, and this is hands down the best Taiwanese food I’ve ever had. Every dish we ordered was incredible, but the dim sum was on another level — perfectly prepared and bursting with flavor.

Two surprising standouts were the cucumber salad and green beans — simple dishes that Din Tai Fung managed to elevate into something truly exceptional.

The food alone would earn five stars, but the service from our server, Chloe K., was every bit as outstanding. She was attentive, friendly, and made our experience even more enjoyable.

My only regret is that I live in Florida and this restaurant is all the way across the country. The next time I’m in the area, I’ll absolutely be back. If you’re nearby, don’t pass this place up — it’s a must-try!

Love coming here for xiao long baos, spicy shrimp and pork wontons, pork chop fried, and the lychee martini! We made a reservation and got seated pretty fast for a Friday night. It was definitely busy, but food and service were great!

We dined here few days b4 Christmas, so it was very busy. Parking was quite difficult because there was Enchanted event next to the mall, and the wait time for reservation was around 3–4 hours. I would definitely recommend making a reservation in advance on Yelp, especially during the holiday season.

That said, once we received text and checked in, the experience was very smooth. We were seated fairly quickly, and the food came out fast. Everything was well organized despite how busy it was, and the overall dining experience was good.

Ordered dumplings, rice, noodles, shrimp wonton things and even chocolate dumplings for dessert what can I say that everyone doesn’t already know.?!
The food here is amazing delicious!
I would definitely return a hundred times
I recommend getting on the online wait list.

Wait isn’t too long on weekdays for lunch or dinner. Very nice staff. Takeout orders have always been fine from here too, and they generously five out ginger on request.

Nice and friendly staff and has great atmosphere. Food is good, but a bit on the expensive side for what it is. Always packed, so I recommend going in weekdays when they open if you can.

Came here for lunch with my family on a Thursday. Thankfully, I joined the Yelp waitlist ahead of time because it was busy even on a weekday.

We got seated fairly quickly, and Erickson took care of us the entire time. He was incredibly patient, always smiling, attentive, and kind. Halfway through our meal, the fire alarm unexpectedly went off and it was super loud. Erickson was very apologetic and kept checking in to make sure we were okay. Honestly, just from the level of service alone, we would come back.

As for the food—Din Tai Fung never disappoints. We ordered the classic pork xiao long bao, pork chop fried rice, fried string beans, shredded pork with noodles, a Chinese tamale, and hot and sour soup. Every dish was beautifully presented and you could taste the freshness of the ingredients. Din Tai Fung really sets the standard for high-quality Chinese food. The experience feels like fine dining, but still comfortable and family-friendly.

Parking can be tricky on weekends, but during the weekdays it’s manageable with the parking garage and lots nearby.

Definitely worth a visit if you want a solid dim sum and noodle fix with top-notch service.

Great experience! First time trying this place out and it was delicious the wait was around 1 hour. Recommend joining the waiting list online! The waiter was super awesome, really great service. The chicken dumplings were a great start. The sliced chicken noodle soup was bland (we were warned) but still hit the spot according to the wife. The noodles with spicy sauce was not as spicy as I expected but still had a kick.

Are there a bunch of other cheaper alternatives around the area? Why bother with this ridiculously long line? Well, if you wanna’ take your date in a dimly-lit spot to impress her, THIS IS IT! The food isn’t bad. Would I like bigger portions? Sure, but that’s not the point of coming here. Service was excellent, and the staff was very friendly. They didn’t speak too fast, and were very patient with us. The food is great! They’re famous for the 小籠包 (Xiao Long Bao), so try those, but generally you can’t go wrong. Really loved the Mango Snow dessert. Get it before they take that off their menu!
