I’ve ordered from this place before via Doordash. This time I decided to pick up my order (20mins away), and I’m glad that I did!
I went to their website to order and discovered that they give monthly coupons! Not sure ifnthisbis the norm, but I signed up this evening and the coupon was a BOGO entree deal with the purchase of 2 drinks. That’s a big deal bc my order went from $50 to $39 before the tip! They also have $1.50 Oysters on Sundays…
This was my first time ordering the oyster po boy and it did not disappoint at all! I love their grilled veggies, so I opted for that instead of the fries and added the red beans & rice. We also got a 4pc catfish plate w/ fries and the bread pudding! I cannot complain about wither dish!
The atmosphere is very laid back, all self-serve on the condiments, plenty of seating and a very friendly staff! This is a great seafood house!

A Fish Camp feel at the Flying Fish. Quiet enough to hold a conversation. So many choices to choose from. Fresh vegetables. If you haven’t been here yet bring your favorite catch picture and they will hang on the wall. Nice patio area out back to sit on and enjoy a pleasant evening.

Ordered the grilled salmon & salmon as takeout to enjoy at the nearby Peticola Brewery. Adorable place is a time capsule to the ’50s. Food wasn’t fancy but that’s not what I was expecting, importantly, it was good quality and tasty. What some of the others were having around me also looked old-time tasty as well.

As a lone diner I really appreciated the casual atmosphere and insanely good food. Something for everyone. I had the oysters (amazing value) and shrimp tacos (insanely well cooked and delicious slaw). I see other regular diners went for fried fish and grilled veg so would love to come back and try that. Q. Glad i was eating alone as I did not hold back in licking my fingers of all the tastiness! Scrum yum!!

Visiting from MO and found this “hidden gem” while searching for a place close to American Airlines Center. Always enjoy visiting local restaurants and this place did not disappoint. Felt like one took a step back in time when entering as the feel was of simpler good ‘ol days. Gave that hometown laid back vibe especially with all the photos of fishing trips all over. Was a treat seeing local law enforcement gathering for dinner, too. Food was tasty! Had the grilled shrimp tacos meal and fried pickles. Staff was friendly & the place was very tidy.

Not much to look at on the outside, oozes character and Cajun goodness on the inside.
You order at the counter, get your own drink and take a pager to alert you on your food. There’s a verity of seating from tables, booths and a few high tops. There’s a great selection of sauces, paper towels and accouterments at the table. Ambiance is excellent with a steady flow of the blues playing.
Another jewel in the Dallas metro area. I came here with one thing in mind and with quickly called to get the Jambalaya. It slaps—nice reasoning, plentiful fresh shrimp that leaves your ears with a slight sense of heat in your eardrums.
Fresh brewed sweet/unsweetened iced tea is available as well. Lots of desert options for you to choose from. The banana pudding called me but I chose the brownie aka mode. Brownie was warm with a healthy scoop of old fashioned vanilla ice cream—ohhhh yeah.
If you want fish or Cajun food in the middle of Texas you can’t go wrong here.

Really really delicious and the staff was so sweet. I ordered everything at once but they kept my dessert chilled until I finished. Not pictured: $6 beer. I will definitely be returning.
