Our family popped in to grab a quick snack before dinner. We got the queso fundido. It was a ton of cheese freshly baked/broiled with tomatoes, onion, corn, and cilantro inside served with a bag of chips. It was a great snack on a busy day. The atmosphere, while not superb for family dining, would be fantastic for a night out with friends. There was bench seating all around the outside patio and the area was open enough for a little dancing. I would love to go back and try the chicken mole pizza.

I love a fusion pizza, we got the sole birria and the bbq chicken mole. The bbq sauce was tangy and delicious, but I did not necessarily expect that flavor from the bbq mole name.
My main desire would be for a bigger pizza so it would be more cost-effective. I don’t see us going to a $14 pizza each very often.

The outdoor seating is pretty nice, we came late so it was dark. It also smelled like trash juice which was unpleasant, but I assume it’s not like that most of the time… Would love to go back and try the patio on a nice day.

Friendly staff and quite generous portions. “Street food” in a nice sit down atmosphere. I had the quesadilla bomb and my wife had the street tacos. Mmmm.

Loved the new space. Open approximately 6 months and now starting to pick up steam. Will be a great place for Cinco de Mayo. Mango Meat Supremo is my favorite but I am coming back for the chorizo chili! Thank you for the kind service when you first opened!

I was skeptical of a Mexican pizza, but that carne asada was insane. The lime squeeze is mandatory. I know that tres leches I’m about to scarf will be delicious. Don’t sleep on Amigo Sole! Torrid!

I got to speak to the owner, and I’m really looking forward to this place. The chef is bringing authentic Mexican recipes from his hometown of Tijuana. They will be using a wood fired oven for Mexican pizzas and fajitas.

What a unique menu and hospitable staff! Love their origin story of “soul” and “sole”, and the food, service, and atmosphere were stellar! Would certainly recommend to anyone venturing through The Grove of St. Louis!

The food was tasty, but the portions were abysmally small for the prices. Their $15 pizzas are actually flatbreads, which I would estimate would be an $8-10 appetizer for most restaurants.
