Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

I got the breakfast burger. I switched the bun for brioche and I switched the cheese for Monterey. Jack. I asked for the egg to be ranchero picante style. I also asked for a small cup of gravy on the side to dip the hash browns in but did not get it. But that’s okay. I tried to order everything online but the payment would not go through so I decided to order at the window. The girl that took my order didn’t completely understand me. She wasn’t understanding that I wanted the eggs ranchero picante style. But either the manager or one of the cooks came up and verified at the window and fixed it for me. The sandwich was really good and extremely satisfying. It was the best thing I’ve had in a while, especially for breakfast! I would definitely recommend this and I would come back! I actually already want another one! The hash browns were pretty small but good. I got a medium diet Dr. Pepper to drink and it was more like a large. Their drink sizes are huge. No complaints there.

On average, the food is pretty good. But often mess up the order or change it in a way I didn’t ask for (wrong sauce, or similar). Their wait times average ~30 minutes, but it’s either 5 min wait or 45, no in-between. Day workers are great, night workers need to get their shit together. Overall: 3/5. Often ok, but sometimes shitty, usually at night.

Can’t go wrong with the patty melt. The fountain drinks were not tasting right and the wait took forever when not a lot of people was dining. But it could of been a off night. Food was still good

The jalepenio and cheese burger is very good as well as the Monterey Melt and the simple patty melt is quite good too. We get the fries and drink combos. Whataburger is a clean restaurant and the staff is helpful and our orders are correct.

The customer service was great. The food not so much. Maybe it’s personal taste but the fries were mediocre and the burger was salty. The employees were phenomenal but I’m not a fan of the food.

Ordered a 14 honey bbq wings, and a patty melt, she repeated this back to use then charged us for a 3pc strip, jalapeño burger, and 2 spicy chicken strips. I did not get the 2 chicken strips, nor the wings. Completely messed up the order and over charged us, very sad.

the day hell freezes over is the day that the drive through here takes less than 30 minutes. once it freezes, i’ll be sure to bring my milkshake there with me because once i got my order, the milkshake had absolutely NO viscosity.

Put a DoorDash order into this Whataburger, took them 2 hours, I finally called them and they said they were bagging it up, part of me wonders if it was just sitting there the whole time and they just forgot about it, then when it got to me 2 hours later the order was wrong. I understand it can get busy at times but it should not take 2 hours to get fast food.
