This is our go to Mexican and the service is usually exceptional, but tonight service was nothing you write home about. We weren’t served the chips and salsa. We had to flag down someone to get it, then by the time they brought it, our dinner arrived before I could eat a single chip. The food was quick and delicious! We had to flag down our server to get refills for our drinks and then again for refill on chips and salsa. We were told them that to get any more salsa we would have to be charged. We have been coming here for years and we’ve never had this happen, never been charged for more than two bowls of salsa, never had to repeatedly flag someone down for refills. Eimy was her name. You did your restaurant a disservice tonight.

It’s not easy to write a critical review for a restaurant that provides some of the best service I’ve experienced, but I wanted to share my feedback for those seeking authentic and flavorful Mexican cuisine. Both our waitress and the owner were exceptionally polite and attentive, and they genuinely made an effort to ensure we had a positive dining experience.
Unfortunately, the food itself fell short. My wife ordered the chile rellenos, and while the batter was well prepared, the filling appeared to be a cheese such as Monterey Jack rather than the traditional Oaxaca cheese. Additionally, the chiles were slightly undercooked and lacked the softness typically expected in this dish.
I ordered the carne asada burrito. Although the steak was good quality, it would have benefited from more seasoning, as the rice and beans were quite bland and didn’t add much to the overall flavor of the dish.
Another consideration is pricing, which was roughly 25% higher than comparable Mexican restaurants in the area. I’m more than willing to pay a premium for authentic, well-seasoned food, but in this case, the quality did not justify the higher cost.
While the service was excellent and truly commendable, the bland flavors and lack of authenticity mean I’m unlikely to return.

We have driven by here so many times and finally stopped in to try it out. I wish we had stopped in earlier. What a great place! Our server was exceptional and the food was so so good and the prices are more than reasonable. We loved the decor and house music. What a great vibe! We will be back..soon! Love the vibe and warm welcome once you enter. The nice and easy decorated rooms give you a warm feeling of being welcomed. The food is really good and for the servings size your gonna leave with extra food. It’s very reasonable in price , the drink and food selection is good and not such overwhelming. The staff is always smiling and do check on you periodically as it should be. While I have been to many food places you certainly can say there is authentic food presented. Colorful, tasteful and fun. Would go back again.

Standard American Mexican food and atmosphere. We ate from the lunch menu. I had the chicken enchiladas, which were ok but basic. It came with a side of rice and refried beans. The rice was not bad but the refried beans were horrible and completely devoid of flavor. The chimichanga was small, even for a lunch portion. The salsa and chips were decent. The food arrives fast but then you have to flag down any service. We went here for convenience only and won’t go back.

It was my friend’s Birthday on Sunday, unfortunately they don’t celebrate your birthday on Sundays. Besides that fact, the food was pretty authentic and had good flavor definitely coming back. The Michelada was on point.

Pretty good. Overall, a decent choice. Staff is fantastic and the restaurant is clean. I would go there again if it’s convenient, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to go there. The food is 8/10, only because it’s lacking something special, but it’s still good.

Had a great experience at Don Juan’s. Great customer service. Food was hot and delicious and I definitely recommend if you are in the mood for some really good Mexican food wide menu sauce and chips were hot and fresh. I ordered the chicken chimichanga and what I really liked about it is it automatically came with guacamole sour cream, pico de gallo and lettuce on the side and didn’t charge us extra. Definitely recommend if you’re in Mandarin and want great Mexican food

One of the best Mexican food experiences we have had. The Ceviche and Chicken Fajitas were incredible. The carrots and zucchini/squash that were added to the Fajitas were a nice touch. Very very fresh food. Margarita Suprema very tasty.
