All the food I’ve had here has been really good. The service is also great. Liz is the best. They have value menu offerings that are really good as well. The place does get pretty busy at times so it can be a little crowded and noisy but I’ve always found the food and service to be worth it. I’ve only been here for breakfast and lunch times though.

Today 11/20/2025 at approximately 4:45 am I went to go pick up an Uber Eats order for a customer and had to use the restroom since it was my only time to safely use and asked the Latina Manager to Use it as usual and today she decided to racially profile me being that I am disabled and am not her national background, decided to accuse me of stealing her cell phone. You can look at your cameras right now and verify I never went near her cell phone nor near any of her work space. She was incredibly rude and almost refused to give me the order assigned to me I then showed her it was my own cell phone I have with the customers name attached. Even after it was proven she had her phone elsewhere she still acted like she was superior than I am and didn’t even bother to apologize for the accusations. She doesn’t need to be on her phone or have it where she’s in a sanitary work place so there’s no reason to accuse anyone of stealing anything if she’s busy working. She should be paying attention to her job instead of fiddling with her phone to where she feels she will lose it. Should be in her locker or in her belongings!!! There needs to be a racial training for her since she thinks it’s ok to accuse another person of Latin descent of stealing something she knew very well didn’t break a law! And she needs to learn how to approach people! Not a single apology from her just straight up attitude and rude. Not the first time I’ve seen her disrespect Drivers.

In the middle of cold and flu season. Dennys restaurants don’t let employees take sick days. So before you run out to eat at any of their restaurants think about that and ask yourself if it’s worth it. To have someone who is sick cook your food, serve your food. There are many other restaurants that treat they’re employees better

Came in for a quick bite to eat. They seated us were we asked due to back pain I have to sit comfortably. Also Vicky she gave us the most amazing service. She went above and beyond and out of her way to serve us. We will be back because of her. Thanks again Vicky

We went in the other day in the morning and ever since then I can not stop thinking about our waitress. She was just the cutest little thing I don’t quit remember her name but I remember her dimples we will always request her when we go in.

Had to wait on the waitress and still got my coffee cold plus my kids got no straw so that took even longer to get. I saw other people get their food first that barely got there and they never gave me part of my order . Was there for about 2 hrs with bad service. When I payed I told them and all I got was a promo code that only deducted 1.99 which didn’t cover the missing food. Was not good service at all . Will NEVER go to the Porterville Dennys AGAIN.

2 homeless guys just outside the door. Doesn’t make me wanna go back. Other than that food is great. Except for boneless chicken is extremely salty. If they get rid of the homeless guys I’ll go back.

My wife and I were literally saying that this has been the BEST experience we’ve ever had at a Denny’s. Angel, our server, did amazing; she was attentive, polite, and worked hard. The hostess, Arlett, was also extremely nice and payed very close attention to detail.
Overall the staff here goes above and beyond what anyone would expect from any restaurant, but especially a Denny’s. Amazing job!
