Can someone tell me what I just ingested from my Coke? This was by far the nastiest fast food experience I’ve had in quite a long time. I had to take my drink top off and spit this back out while driving. How does this even happen? The tater tots were nasty as well. This in my Coke was the consistency of hot fudge mixed with coffee grinds. Damn good thing I was a half hour away when this happened. The bad thing is drink was half gone before I made it to the surprise in the bottom. If nobody ever hears from me again, please know it was from my Coke at this Sonic.

I find it crazy how I order a single drink and it takes 30 minutes+ to receive it. I placed a mobile order, checked in and watched an entire line of cars receive their orders first after placing their orders in the drive thru.
And it wasn’t until I gave up and joined the drive thru line that I got my order. Absolute madness.

I have to say this last experience was the absolute worst. I placed my son and wife’s order from the Sonic app, but since I was at home the app prevented me from checking in. When I realized that I immediately called, and let the phone ring and sadly no one picked up. My wife then tried calling from the stall, and it took nearly 20 minutes to speak to someone. The employee then told my wife the order would be out shortly. Another 20 minutes went by, and the order was finally brought to her stall. The food was cold which meant it was prepared earlier, and completely ignored and overlooked. When they arrived home the Buffalo Sauced Jumbo Popcorn Chicken had hardly any buffalo sauce on it, and when my son and I bit into the chicken all we tasted was the breading. There was no chicken to be found at all. My wife’s Junior Frito Wraps looked nothing like the picture, and extremely unappetizing. It was as if the employee threw everything together in a hurry. So very sad. I have overlooked the last couple of visits because the food was still delicious, but I could not this time. The service was totally unacceptable, and no one from Sonic apologized.
The Peanut Butter Shake was delicious. So creamy and smooth, but the fudge topping was missing. That was a bit of a letdown, but I looked past it because I was enjoying the creamy peanut buttery goodness. Very friendly service.
Yesterday my son and I ordered the new Churro Shake. We were very disappointed. Although the shake had a pungent cinnamon flavor there weren’t any Churro pieces in the shake or a Churro to top it off. Without the churros it tasted like a cinnamon shake or could be a snickerdoodle shake if there were pieces of it in the shake. To be honest the Churro Shake is not worth the hype.

So I thought I was just ordering a medium Dr Pepper, but apparently I paid for a glorified ice bucket with a splash of soda pretending to be a drink. Like, did they think I wanted a chilly nap instead of a refreshment? The cup was basically 2/3 ice. I’m not trying to chew my beverage here.
And get this, they have the audacity to say no refills. No refills?! What is this, a tea party? Every other fast food place (Chick-fil-A, McDonald’s, Wendy’s) hands those refills out like candy on Halloween, but here? Nope.
Save your coins and your dignity. Go somewhere that actually respects your thirst and your wallet. Because this place? It’s basically charging you for ice with a sprinkle of disappointment on top.

This is my third time here and they are always super consistent. I came through the drive-through tonight about 6:18 PM and Courtney was absolutely phenomenal. They were extremely busy but she was so kind over the speaker and honestly just made me feel great with everybody being in a rush these days I totally get it, but Courtney took the time to just have a little conversation and sometimes that’s all it takes.. keep up the great work I see you and appreciate you. I wish I could give more than one star overall, but unfortunately, this store is slower than slow. We order drinks and maybe a small amount of food on a weekly basis. Usually, it’s only drinks, though. Even when I order WELL in advance through the app, it often takes a half an hour or MORE to get just drinks! If I have food on the order, it will take even longer. The staff are always kind and are usually younger high school students, so I can’t blame them for everything. I don’t know if it’s a staffing issue, a logistics issue, or just a poorly ran establishment, but I don’t know what the problem is, and unless it’s rectified soon, I won’t be back.

Ordered two milkshakes and waited 35 minutes. Never got them. We pressed the button for help in the stall and it lit up, then turned off after a few minutes. We pressed the button again and had the same result.
We left the restaurant without the items we paid for and when we try to call the restaurant, its a busy tone and doesnt even ring.
This happened today, 06/19/2025. The order was placed at 7:31pm and we chose to leave at 8:05pm.
Seeing other similar reviews, we would love a refund but you cant get them to help you!

Just not what it used to be – corn dogs were microwaved, chocolate syrup was awful. Used to love this place. All the fast food joints have really taken a nosedive since covid – adding these goes to the long no-fly list.
