Service is 10/10 which drives the 5 star review. Food imo is decent but not fantastic.

Standout dish was the garlic shrimp with bread. Really fragrant and tasty. We greatly enjoyed this dish.

Paella was a little disappointing – it tasted like it was only seasoned with ketchup, chilli oil and salt. My paella carne excluded rabbit (which the server and kitchen kindly accommodated) that could have affected the taste. The chorizo sausage though, was delicious.

Iberico pork tacos were good with the salsa. We enjoyed this dish.

All the servers here were warm, hospitable and helpful. We didnt have a reservation but they found us a table and were very kind to our kids. The wait for the food is long, but expected since we ordered paella.

Very attentive and welcoming service, our waiter Alex was brilliant and funny making the evening even more enjoyable. The tapas menu was good, warm octopus was certainly the winner (thanks to Alex’s recommendation) while lamb fillet skewers were delightfully melty. Paella Asia with black rice was a great way to finish off. We really enjoyed our meal here tonight, thank you.

We had a family dinner at Bolero with over 10 guests and were served by Alieksa that evening. Alieksa was fantastic, friendly and took good care of us. She made my daughter an amazing mocktail and was so sweet to her and also took good care of our pup who joined us for dinner. Food was really good especially the spanish tapas like chorizos, beef with peri peri sauce,Water buffalo tartare and the paellas. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Maybe it was just bad luck, but I unfortunately did not have a good experience here. I was recommended this place by a few people, and decided to take a group of 4 friends here for our rehearsal dinner. We all did the 4 course dinner. The wait between each course was wayyyy too long. We were there from 6:00 till past 9:00pm. I was not at all impressed with the food. The only thing that was good was the steak, I truly enjoyed the potatoes on the side, meat was cooked very well. Server got our orders all confused for a couple of times as well. For the price of over 600 CHF, we were all very disappointed with the experience.

First of all the appetisers were amazing very flavorful and especially the ham for me stood out because the ham were very fresh and had a great meaty. Secondly, the mains who were very memorable the tortillas we’re very juicy, I recommend adding the sour cream and the cheese. We also ordered the paella and it included coconut cream in the dish which made it very creamy and it also added some curry so it was very flavorful plus after you add the lime it had had some tangy flavour. Lastly, we ordered dessert the mango sorbet was very fresh and it was just the perfect balanced sorbet I suggest, the best part was that the restaurant gave us a complementary dessert, which was the churro with chocolate. Also, the staff was very friendly and was very considerate, overall I think this restaurant is worth five stars.

There were a few things I really liked and a few things I thought could really use some improvement. I loved the duck breast – it was really good with a unique sauce, and the praws with garlic bread were delicious although maybe a little overdone. For drinks the caipirinha was also really good. Other than these I felt the majority of the dishes we tried were just average – the paella, the other tapas, and the octopus which i was really excited for but came out over done and chewy.

3-course Tapas was superb. Thoroughly enjoyed having Javier as my server, his descriptions were delightful and fun. I had an early reservation at 17:30 and atmosphere grew throughout the night. Highly recommend, especially if staying at the hotel (CASCADA)

I honestly think the food was average, but I’m giving a 4 star because of their staff Elisabete, I think she deserved a raise, the only time I don’t see her smile is when she is in the kitchen, I started observing her because whenever I see her walking around serving other tables, she is constantly smiling, the second she steps out of the kitchen, she got that bright smile on her face, which is remarkable, it really elevates the dining experience, the other staff that served us, a Philippine staff I guess, she looked like she just had a bad day, we don’t feel welcome by her. As for food, I’m a fan of Spanish food and I feel that their dishes lack of that punchy flavour that I get from usual Spanish dish. Let’s start with gambas, I love that the prawns is cooked to perfection, but the olive oil lacks of flavours, I can’t taste the garlic, I can’t taste the chili, and there’s no umami flavour of the prawns in the oil. Calamares was okay, it’s a fried dish so it’s hard to go wrong, mussels is lack of flavour too, mussels were small, cooked nicely but the soup is rather plain, I don’t taste the aroma from the white wine, the soup is a little blend. Kroketten was interesting, it taste like the Chinese fish cake but well mashed, very fine, I would recommend this dish. I think also order the bolero special paella, I love the flavour of it, finally something that gives a punchy note. We had it with fideua, I don’t recommend as it doesn’t suit well with it. I think there’s too much ingredients on plate, given the taste I wouldn’t mind paying same price for lesser ingredients, I feel that the cheese balls, beef fillet isn’t needed, with all the ingredients, personally I feel it’s abit overwhelming, having that said this is a personal opinion, some people may like to have more ingredients. But all and all I do enjoy my dining experience, definitely unique one.

Both myself and my wife together with a couple of friends stayed at the Cascada Hotel. As the restaurant was convenient after a long day out sight seeing we booked a table for the evening. None of us had a real experience of either Tapas or Spanish food but we were very pleasantly surprised. We were served by Patricia who took the time to guide us through the process. We were impressed with the service and friendliness she provided. Overall we had a very enjoyable meal and no complaints at all.

The best “Paella” in town!

Actually we were here 2x. First time when we had appero before cinema, the old man staff really sincere and welcoming(unfortunetly we didn’t know his name). So he attracted us to come back. Here we go…second time we had dinner! And It was fantastic! We ordered bacalhau, octopus&paella. All yummyyy! Foodgasm we would say! Bacalhau taste so tender,smooth..octopus crispy but not dry, paella with huge topping and all good quality! Plus Zamantha was take care of us nicely.
Definetly will come back again.
