I’ve been a customer of Luciano’s for over 35 years, which makes this especially disappointing. I ordered a quart of minestrone for takeout and it was so salty it was inedible. I was told I’d be credited.
On the next order, the soup was comped, but when I got home it clearly had chicken in it. I called to ask if the recipe had changed. The manager insisted it was wedding soup, argued with me despite my long familiarity with their food. He insisted that he saw the order filled and what I got was wedding soup, then dismissed it as a “miscommunication,” He continued to talk over me. I said I had an image taken and it was clearly minestrone soup, he then hung up on me.
The issue wasn’t the soup, I certainly wasn’t calling to get another inedible soup or any compensation. The issue is the lack of respect and customer service. I won’t be returning.

I’ve got to say, this was a nice little spot. The staff was super friendly and helpful. I got a take out order of soup and cheesesticks. The cheesesticks were mid at best. They tasted like they had been out for a while and lacked any seasoning. They are comparable to something you can pop in the oven rather than something I would hope to find in an otherwise great location. The soup is good and nostalgic, though, so props for that.

My best friend and I have been going here for a while for our girl’s day out. Love the pizza and our server, Davida. My pizza was burnt the previous time, but no problem, remade immediately. Last Friday, major problem. My friend’s pizza was raw and didn’t have extra cheese, mine was burnt. The manager was cooking and came out to tell us that she had 40 years experience in the pizza industry and there was nothing wrong with my friend’s pizza. My pizza was never mentioned. Manager’s solution – throw some cheese on top of friend’s pizza and melt it. We both spent $30.00 counting $5.00+ tip for a terrible meal. I don’t know if we’ll be back, but certainly not when “It’s time for you to retire” is cooking.

Last night my wife and I ordered take out and everything was phenomenal. We ordered the Taste of Italy, Lasagna dinner, and the appetizer of bruschetta with some added additional loaves of bread. The girls at the take out counter were very kind, and food was all made and ready accordingly to the time we were given on the phone. Highly recommend!

Tried the crab cake which was probably the best part of the meal, the chicken alfredo and the app sampler. Chicken alfredo was nothing special The chicken was kind of dry as well, the sauce was also broken. App sampler was a lot and could split between 2-3+ people. Service was okay as well. Waited about 10 mins to be seated.

I haven’t been here in ages due to leaving the area and, wow, I miss it. It’s so delicious. I forgot how good it was.
Friendly service and definitely the best atmosphere you will get in the McKeesport area for a restaurant.

chicken parm was super tough/bland and the soup was way too salty. our order was $75+ and definitely not worth the money spent. also $28 for a medium pizza is insane.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had such a wonderful experience thanks to our server, Kalynn! From start to finish, she was absolutely amazing—attentive, personable, kind, and incredibly fast. Everything came out perfectly and she made sure we had everything we needed before we even had to ask. Her personality really elevated the evening as it is hard to find good service nowadays and while she had other tables, she made it a point to make us feel welcomed. She made our dinner feel special. You can tell she truly cares about providing great service. We left happy, full, and can’t wait to come back. The food is always amazing here. Thank you for making our night such a great one Kalynn!
