Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

THANK YOU AILEEN! This was my first experience at Whataburger and Aileen was fabulous. She answered my questions about the menu and provided excellent customer service. This girl was running the cash register, working curbside pick-up, AND dropping food off inside the dining room. I love how Whataburger servers have the condiments and napkins ready to go when they drop off your food.
I ordered a patty melt w/ grilled onions (a top 3 Whataburger option) and it was juicy! The hype is REAL, I loved my meal. The fries paired with my melt were crunchy, perfectly hot, and the right color! I topped my meal off with a sugar-free lemonade to make myself feel better hahaha.
Overall, the aesthetic of this location isn’t much to look at on the outside but DO NOT underestimate this establishment, its classic for a reason. Thank you Texas! Oh, and don’t forget to collect points.

From phx and this is worst Whataburger I’ve ever been to. Went drive thru. Hatch green chili combo with no salt on fries (so they should be made fresh). I was asked to pull forward and they would bring out my food which took a unexpectedly long time. It was a 7 minute drive home. The fries were cold. The hatch chili double was basically a weak double cheese burger with some chilis in the middle. Asked for a certain amount of condiments and didn’t get that. Called to tell someone and they listened but had an attitude and hung up on me mid sentence. I would drive to different location next time, don’t care if it’s further. Every single Whataburger in phx is great every single time.

I’ll always take a place where you’re not encouraged to order from a computer! Especially when the crew seems happy to be there and take pride in their jobs. Its nice to walk into a clean welcoming place when you go to eat. Makes me feel appreciated as a Customer. Like whe you have company over for dinner, you put your best foot forward as they do here! I thinks it’s my favorite Whataburger in town!

Yummy! Great burger joint, I had the #1 burger meal. Self service fountain drinks as well as freshly made iced tea. Staff is very nice and they brought our food to the table. As well as a tray to pick out extra condiments , so cool! They also have a person hanging around in the lobby , attentive and ready to help out. Thx bro for opening the bathroom for me. I really enjoyed the food and thier service

Ordered my usual, #2 with bacon and cheese. Large onion ring and large rootbeer. Got back to the office to something but not what I ordered. Finally found the cheese, and it was a 1/4 of the slice that they usually give. Found the bacon, but burned to a crisp. Barely any lettuce, maybe 2 pickles, and none of their incredible chopped onions. There was so little condiments on the burger all you could taste is how salty the meat is. I don’t know if that is the usual amount because the burger is usually overflowing with ingredients, but frankly it was inedible. The drink was so full of ice you get about 4 pulls and it is empty. No longer becoming a go to for the fast burger mix. Grew up on Whataburger in Texas and all I can say is, it ain’t like home. Can’t even defend what I was served as a burger against what the competition makes. Truly the saddest burger I have ever had. Was going to give it three stars but as I am writing this review, I think I need to change that score.

I would have assigned a 4-star rating, but the employees in drive-thru there regularly ask if we want ketchup, then fail to follow through providing it.
Additionally, we ordered a chicken salad with crispy chicken, but received one with spicy chicken instead.
Management would do well with some oversight and increased quality control measures there.
To bad, really. Like the food, but the service is below average.

I went through the drive through and they were very rude talking to other people while ordering. Had ordered two #13’s and both orders were wrong the sauces I was charged extra for didn’t get, extra bread that I was charged also wasn’t there and even one meal was missing a tender. I had also ordered a kids burger and had asks for no pickles with cheese which was also an up charge, didn’t get the cheese but got pickles. Don’t recommend or check check check your food

It is one of the better fastfood places. I mean, it is still fastfood, so nothing glamorous, but — this location seems to be nice, clean, well run and service is smooth. The drive-through is run efficiently and spacious enough even for a larger truck to navigate through.
On a negative, they list on nearby billboard ads and on their menu products that are, according to the staff: ‘No longer in our selection.’ So, that was a bit odd. Also, minus one star for giving out a broken foam cup, knowing that it would leak, but just wanting to be done with it… ♂️

patty melt burger with grilled jalapenos was quite tasty, I also got the small chicken/Apple salad very unique flavor when choosing the slightly chicken patty. French fries/drinks prices are a little too high and not worth the money especially when get delivery!

The Whataburger I visited felt a bit sketchy, but the drive-thru lady was friendly and provided good service. Unfortunately, they left out the jalapeños I ordered for my biscuit sandwich. It might seem like a minor detail, but if I pay for something and don’t receive it, it’s frustrating. Small mistakes like this can really hurt the experience.
