Welcome to THE STIX. We’re all about amazing food, cold drinks, great times on our 14 acres of fun. You’ll find a full menu made from scratch daily and sourced locally… (like our burger meat from right down the street at Hamm’s) and some awesome activities for the fam like corn hole, ping pong, disc golf, waffle ball, soccer and more! Live music on the porch every Thursday through Sunday makes evenings at THE STIX the perfect way to unwind. On busy nights we encourage you to BYOC- bring your own chair- so you can find a spot you love in the yard and soak up the sunshine and good times! (just use our outside bar to order food & drinks- so easy!)

Décor and atmosphere lean casual and eclectic, there’s lots of interesting memorabilia and Texas history touches on the walls, TVs for sports fans, and plenty of room to relax. A few folks have mentioned it can get a bit loud and busy, especially later in the day, but that’s part of the lively feel for this kind of place.
I sat at the bar and ordered a few drinks, all were delicious and well crafted. The bartender was extremely friendly, attentive, and helpful with recommendations, which really elevated the visit.
The only downside for me was the shrimp tacos. I ended up taking them home and didn’t finish them, they just weren’t my favorite. I’ve heard food can be a little hit or miss, but the drinks and service definitely shine.
Parking was a bit scarce during lunchtime, but I eventually found a spot.
Overall, I’d absolutely go back for the drinks, atmosphere, and service!
Not only do they have so many fun things scheduled but even their seating and was so varied and mismatched that it had a quaint like-able ambience , like you are at a house party at your friend’s home!
Everywhere you eyes go there are interesting things on the wall and ceiling with customer appreciation notes such to quite a few areas!
Courtney , who waited on us was charming , courteous and genuinely happy to be doing what she is doing! She gave us a lay of huge space that is the Stix and also bout the events held here!
We ordered the Poison Apple (drink of the month)) which was great fun ! And The Aluminum Cowboy glass of beer was cold and refreshing!
We had ordered the Burger with blue cheese and the salmon with steamed veggies and mashed potatoes. Both were made fresh and prepared with care to make them both outstanding in taste and presentation.
We plan to visit them sober the weekend and evenings to enjoys the events organized here
Place to remember and a dollar bill added on the wall!
On Friday night, a tire swing located on the restaurant’s property collapsed onto three children, creating a very dangerous situation. The play feature appears poorly maintained and inadequately inspected, making it a serious safety hazard. Even more troubling was the lack of staff awareness or response—no one seemed to notice or take responsibility for what was happening in the surrounding play area.
Throughout the evening, children were allowed to roam and play completely unsupervised, including bringing 5–6 foot tree branches into the play area. Kids were swinging these branches around aimlessly, creating repeated risks of injury to other children and nearby families. Staff members walked by without addressing the situation or attempting to intervene.
This environment places families at unnecessary risk. While parents should always supervise their children, an establishment that actively encourages families must also take responsibility for maintaining safe premises and addressing obvious hazards. At this location, you are essentially on your own to ensure your child is not injured—or worse.
Until STIX takes playground safety, environmental inspection, and staff awareness seriously, I cannot recommend this restaurant to families. The potential for serious injury is real and should not be ignored.
