Food is nice portions, although I added ground beef & shrimp to this nachos, and it was not enough for the price. This was my third time visiting this location, and services wasn’t good. My server wasn’t pleasant when I ask about the menu. I felt rush to order and she just wasn’t engaging. I wanted to get suggestions for other items on the menu. I didn’t get any of the condiments to top off nachos, so it was dry tasting. I’ve visited the CBD location services, which was a great, very personal experience. Overall food is a great customer service skills needs improvement at midcity. Also sanitation needs to be addressed washing hands more often.

So, we had Juan’s for dinner last night and were really excited for the order of Americano tacos, queso con chorizo, and beef enchiladas. But when I got the food, I was disappointed. The queso container was only half full and watery. There was barely any chorizo, and the enchiladas tasted like they had been coated in an entire bag of sugar. Took a few bites and then threw the whole thing away. I’m a big fan of Juan’s, but paying nearly $70 for a meal that wasn’t even edible was a huge letdown.

They were out of steak. The waitstaff was not attentive made me feel like they didn’t want to even be bothered. Never refilled my drink. Hoping this was just a bad day or rare occasion went for lunch on a Sunday.

Excellent food. The Chips and Queso was a great appetizer and quite filling. Both orders of tacos were satisfying as well. We were seated quickly and didn’t have to wait long for our order to arrive. The restaurant has unique Mexican decor and it was relatively neat and organized.

This place is Unbelievable…We sat at the bar with Matt the bartender serving the best drinks during happy hour on this side of the Mississippi. We were tired of eating on the strip so we gave this place a shot. It was highly recommended by the locals and let me tell you. The food was great, the prices were very affordable and the hospitality and overall food quality was completely outstanding!!! Go check them out and enjoy a margarita during happy hour on me !!!

This restaurant is located in the MidCity near main crossing of the Canal Street and South Carrollton. There is a small parking behind the restaurant or nearby street.
This restaurant stays extremely busy during major events and weekends. They have outdoor dining facilities.
This restaurant serves delicious Mexican food and many choices for the vegetarian.
The menu describes in the detail all dishes.
There is lots of variety and choices from the Bar menu.
It’s great for couples and romantic so do family.
We are dining here for more than a decade.

The staff at this location is often rude and has no problem being rude to customers, especially the kitchen staff. The music they play is from their own playlist so it is often not child friendly the taste of the food differs from day today based on the cooks, so it’s not very consistent. It is common place for staff to bring you in for the wrong item so make sure to look at your receipt after you order. All that being said, I highly recommend getting a steak quesadilla with the adobo sauce and they’re bad ass bean dip with queso the flying Burrito might sound great, but I just don’t think that shrimp pairs well with chicken or maybe I just don’t like their chicken. I also highly recommend the jerk nachos and black beans with cheese. It should also be noted that this place could easily be two separate restaurants between day and night.

We were in the mood for mexican and were in the area and never been here so decided to try it out.

we starred out with chips and salsa, which are not complimentary here. the chips and salsa were decent, although a bit small for the price. we then ordered a taco salad and three tacos – a banh mi tofu taco a chicken taco and another veggie taco. the taco salad was large and had both chicken and beef but it was not in a taco shell rather it had pieces of tortilla on top. the tacos were decent, with good flavor and a decent size

overall a decent place with good portion size and decent flavor

Food was decent. I’m giving four stars mostly for service and atmosphere. Despite the Endymion parade starting in front of the business, we were seated and served fairly quickly. Margaritas were good. Salsa and chips were blah, the burritos were okay.

Cool vibe to eat some local tacos at. Love the choice of music. Had me jamming out the whole time while we were eating. Got to love the Creole twist on the tacos
