I was thoroughly dissapointed. Yes I have an allergy to gluten but every other sushi place is accommodating. When I simply asked for no tempura and the roll to not be fried, I was met with confusion and rude staff who took 20 additional minutes to make my food and 4 out of 5 of my rolls came with tempura. Then I was charged for not finishing rolls I was unable to physically eat. Service was just very slow and food was underwhelming. Also, the salmon in my Philadelphia roll was discolored and didn’t taste fresh. And the staff was AGAIN rude when we paid. Won’t be coming back.

I love the sushi! They do take a while to bring the sushi out because of how many people come. They also have very compact seating arrangements so if you have a stroller or wheelchair it’s pretty hard to navigate to the seat. In addition if they have no seating the wait times are very long.

Great service and fresh sushi. All you can eat by the order with a pen and paper. Lobster roll and soft crab rolls are my favorite. Great price at $30 per person for fresh sushi buffet. And you can order sashimi… No rice!!!!

I have been to similar sushi buffet resturants around new haven area, this one was the first I tried, the most I have been to (＞30 times since 2021), and the best in my heart. They have nice supply chain and loyal customers, which is a positive feedback loop that make their food fresh and high turnover rate.

Ah man! If you want AYCE sushi (including sashimi) this is the place! Always able to get a table even when it’s busy. The staff is great about shifting things around to get people situated. If you have a large group, call ahead to see if a reservation is needed. The quality, quantity, and variety of the food is amazing. It has options for everyone, even those that don’t like sushi (chicken, beef, spring rolls, etc). My favorite is the sashimi as they have many different kinds including tuna, salmon, yellowtail, white tuna, albacore, and mackerel. Oh and don’t forget the icecream at the end! Come one come all, and please leave in a food coma.
