READ THIS: Wandering in search of the best that downtown El Segundo has to offer (kid friendly mind you), look no further. The entire staff was inviting and courteous. The tunes were great too. Freddie was friendly, fast, and assisted in the navigation of the menu options (both beverage & food).
While my wife and I ate, our son played in the kids play area. Since we were in from out of town, he took the time to make family friendly suggestions of establishments, local events, and facilities. The price was well worth the incredible service we received and we look forward to our inevitable return.

We recently visited Rock & Brews and really loved the atmosphere. The rock and roll theme is super fun and energetic, and it feels like a great spot for families. They also had a really cute kids menu, which I appreciated.
Honestly, everything on the menu looked amazing, and we had a hard time deciding because so many items sounded great. We ended up ordering the garlic Parmesan fries, pizza, and the French dip.
Unfortunately, the food didn’t quite live up to how good it sounded. The garlic Parmesan fries and French dip both really lacked flavor, which was disappointing. The pizza was okay — not bad, but nothing standout.
Overall, it’s a cool place with a fun vibe and lots of potential, but we were hoping for a little more flavor from the food. I’d maybe give it another try for the atmosphere alone.

First night here from Winnipeg. We tried this place out. Nice and warm in this outside totally covered bar. Service was great, food was great , prices were good.

I want to start by saying I am an El Segundo resident of 15 years and an on and off contractor at Chevron Refinery.. I started coming to Rock and Brews back in 2012 and even have a photo with Gene Simmons back in 2013 ( shown below ).. This is mine and my buddies spot for Monday and Thursday night football.. over the years when the guys wanted to grab a beer I would always suggest Rock and Brews.. Tonight there were 2 Monday night games and we made a reservation a week early for 4 PM game to grab some food and drinks.. The place was mostly empty when we arrived and I requested our regular seat to watch the first half.. We were told a big group reserved the tables and benches.. I said we had a reservation and we’re only staying for the first half.. She said no and seated us against the wall with an obstructed view .. These seats along the wall are horrible because the flies from Main Street attack the food on warm days.. Then I saw what was happening.. The TV news was there to cover the Chargers game at 7 PM and a Charger Booster club was coming in to watch the game. We finished our meal and the booth we requested was still empty along with 4 others (photo below). When leaving I approached the manager and told her that I was very disappointed about the Booth we were given and that is no way to treat a local resident who has spent upwards of 5-7 thousand dollars over the 14 years I’ve been coming here and I won’t be coming back and when Chevron Contractors from out of state .. And there are many of them with pockets full of money..ask the local (me) where to grab a beer after work , I will recommend The Standard Station .She pointed her finger at me and said we will get along fine without you and your buddies, will still get plenty of business from Chevron.. I am very disappointed with her response.. I would expect better from the restaurant manager.. But that is the kind of immaturity we see now days from the generation of 20-30 year olds
We have an update.. We received a telephone call from Rock and Brews management team.. I’m guessing they got our telephone number from our reservation..They doubled down. after reading this review.. Instead of apologizing to us about the callous behavior of their manager, the Management Team recommended we don’t come back to the establishment. Apparently the shift manager fabricated and embellished the events of the night to make it seem we were somehow in the wrong .. The entire conversation the woman spoke down to me like I was her 5 year old child.. I am 58..!!From this point forward I will be taking the fellows to the Standard Station for Sunday Monday and Thursday night football. Thanks for reading my review and hope your experience is better than mine. .and to all the ES locals who know me.. You know the truth.

1st time here. Our server Wyatt was the best. We came for football Sunday and it was a good vibe. Chili, poke nachos, and the happy hour sliders were all hits. Will def be coming back!

Great spot for watching live games or for family dinner too ! Awesome huge TV screens throughout the restaurant for viewing games. The menu is extensive and features a variety of pizzas, etc… but also includes a good selection of healthy options as well. I ordered a salmon salad and was impressed by the flavor and quality of ingredients! Often grilled salmon can be “cooked to death” but their fish was perfectly moist and flavorful. The service was attentive, and our food arrived promptly. I’ll definitely go back and I definitely recommend it ! Prices are reasonable.

I feel very fortunate the Rock and Brew was able to last minute accommodate my group of 30+ when my pooolside outdoor birthday party had to relocate due to rain. The staff were so incredibly kind and polite and they handled the many tabs/mixed bar tab situation really well. The assistant manager came over and checked on me multiple times and when they needed to switch to dinner service, they were so polite and we were able to move my group to the covered patio.
Great place for a large group. My friends and I are already planning to come back to watch a game on that big screen.
