Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Never happened to me in my life, usually the chicken is cooked throughly and this time its not. My chicken looks very light crusted and its rae on the inside…..tried calling the store also and i got no answer from them. Very disappointed.

I’m NOT one that complains about food from restaurants, especially since I’ve been in the service industry myself, but THIS!!! This is an outrage!!!! All food was cold like it was precooked and ready for rush, and just LOOK at my pitiful burger. This place has had excellent food before.. what on earth happened?

I forgot to include the fries, you can just TELL they’re cold from looking at the picture. Properly cooked fries have a golden brown look. These obviously lack that beautiful color. I DID, however, find some burnt bits that were probably from a prior rush, meaning the fryer wasn’t properly cleaned/prepped.
Also, I called to complain, and of course they don’t answer their phone. I’ll be in touch soon!!

Good god, these people take forever to make a burger, or even give you your drink. A bunch of teenagers who have never been slapped upside their heads, and blame you for any mistake they make. Going corporate was the WORST thing they ever could have done. Idk why I’m even taking the time to write this, because Chicago will never see it. Whataburger used to be the best burger in the business. Those days are long gone, I’m afraid. Hopefully In N Out is on their way to save the day. Hate their burgers, but their service beats the hell out of modern-day Whataburger by a long shot. Sad.

I will come back. This was a perfect way to taste Texas. The size of the burger was the first thing I noticed. I tried two options and some fries. Service is very relaxed don’t expect a lot but they were very friendly. The ambience will take you back to when they first opened.

My wife came though the drive thru and orders 2 meal just today has been there since 4:15 and it is now 4:50 did y’all have to chase the cows down or what a worker comes to the car and ask for her ticket and can’t find the food so a waste of 35 minutes with just an apology come on be better

These people don’t know how to serve food properly. We found a big piece of plastic in our gravy and barely any gravy in all three gravy containers. We asked them kindly if they can put more in them and they rolled their eyes. Such disrespectful employees, and this isn’t the first time either. Almost every time we come here, either a burger or gravy is constantly missing and we have to come back and asked them for the missing item, every single time.
