This was our first time visiting this diner and we will be going back. There were 3 of us, one wanting breakfast, one wanting a small lunch and one wanting a bigger lunch. Best Diner had a nice variety on their menu to take care of all of us. Our waitress was as sweet as she could be and never let out drinks run dry.

Carson was my server on 9/19 @ 11:57pm. She was great even though she was the only one out on the floor but it was packed with people . There were 2 other ladies standing behind the counter and one was making drinks but she’d just gotten in and the other woman was taking to go orders. Bless their hearts . I sat at the bar and the cooks were so disrespectful. Carson admitted to making a mistake and they bashed her for one was basically yelling at her . The other lady was sliding the plates with an attitude and tossing the tickets as will on the counter . I couldn’t believe they were so disrespectful . The manager needs to have a discussion with them . The two ladies to the left are the ones that were absolutely rude .

I had eye surgery that morning and my closest friend knows the restaurant. I had not heard of them. But, she stated their food was great, so I took her word for it. We probably should have sat down and ate. But she wanted it to go and I think that’s where the problem was. I made two orders. I ordered a Western Omelette with extra onions and extra cheese, and 3 pancakes & double hashbrowns w/2 round sausage, and another order for later, the Burger special w/Bacon and fries…I ordered my fries w/extra seasoning. My Omelette was over cooked no extra onions and my sausages were out right burnt, practically black and dry, like they had been sitting out. My string hashbrowns were cold. The fries w/my sandwich/burger was also cold and I saw very little bacon, it was practically like eating a regular cheeseburger. I was very disappointed. Because, usually when my friend brings me to a place she’s ate at before, it is on point. So I don’t question it. I was so looking forward to it. That’s why I ordered what I did. If I knew then, what I know now, I’d have keep my $45 dollars and ate somewhere else. I usually give a exceptional tip on my second visit to a restaurant to makeup for the first visit which is the trial…if it wasn’t for the pleasant atmosphere and the customer service, I would have just give a one star. But the customer service was exceptional, so the stars go to them. It’s the food that was not up to par….

Serving breakfast, lunch and dinner all day., They have a big menu, but stick to the daily specials menu which are at a good price and some include a drink. The food and service is good and you can seat yourself. Love the crinkle cut fries. Definitely a go to place when visiting Greensboro.

My wife specifically told the waitress she wanted a medium rare cooked cheeseburger. After waiting it came out well done. Onion slices were way too thick. When the waitress came back to our table we told her she asked for medium rare & she looked at our check & said no you didn’t say medium rare. My wife spike up & said yes I said medium rare. She wasn’t pleased that she had to take it back. After a wait she brought another one & it was medium rare. She couldn’t get center be bothered to ask if it was ok. Sorry we’ve been here before & food was good. I hate to inform you we won’t be back. Also upon entering the outside entrance smelt of stale old cigarette smoke as well as the ladies room. Being an ex smoker we smell that very clearly. Sorry I’m so negative but it’s all the truth.

The lady at the register was rude and impatient with a customer who didn’t understand the language. Instead of being patient, kind and gentle, she slapped the counter in frustration, repeated her words louder (as if her raised voice was going to help the customer understand english better), and her tone was clearly frustrated and outright rude. When a call was made to the manager to address the issue, their only response was “okay” before hanging up. There was no sympathy, understanding, consideration, or apology. If the workers and managers have this type of sour attitude, I can only imagine the food. Honestly, when you make food with love it tastes 10,000 times better than normal food – I don’t think people with sour attitudes can make food with love. Nevertheless, their attitude alone can make the atmosphere and energy feel off and I would not want to eat there. I really hope the owner makes things right so that their business can flourish. Lets just treat everyone with respect and kindness.

Classic. Utterly classic. It reminded me of the diner my Grandpa would take me and my cousins to in upstate NY. The food was delicious and reasonably priced (a rarity in this economy). The staff was lovely and helpful. They even told me how to order my food to get a cheaper price option. And, I cannot overstate this enough, the eggs were cooked perfectly. A diamond in a sea of cubic zirconia. Special thanks to Rita for being exceptionally funny and kind.

I went on lunch and sat at the bar and was decently helped. Two days later I went later in the night with my wife and was never helped. Walked in and told to sit anywhere butt never received any service after waiting 20 mins. Yet another family came in 15 mins after us and was immediately service. So we left

Short staffed is the only issue they have honestly. Everyone is so kind and the food was amazing. Sure you had to wait just a lil bit for food but who cares it was worth it. People need to stop rushing greatness and have patience!!
