After receiving our order, I asked my roommate to check if the churros were included, and they weren’t. So, I went back through the drive-thru to let them know we had received cinnabon delights instead. The employee informed me that they didn’t have the churros in stock, so they substituted them without notifying us. I simply mentioned that I wished they had told us beforehand.
At that point, the employee got an attitude and said, “First of all—pull up.” Before I even reached the window, she leaned out to look at me approaching. Once I got there, she explained that the app is managed by a third party, so they had no way of notifying through the third party that the item was unavailable. She added that they substituted it to be accommodating. I responded, “I appreciate that, but I just wish someone had informed us when we picked up our food.”
She then asked if I wanted to cancel the order. I asked whether that would cancel just the churros or the entire order, and she said it would cancel everything. Since we had already received our food, I told her we would just keep it. She then gave me a sarcastic “Have a good day” before slamming the window.
When I got home, I realized they hadn’t included the avocado verde salsa that comes with my Cantina tacos. On top of that, my tacos were burnt and had the wrong meat—I had swapped the chicken for seasoned beef, but they didn’t make the change.
Aiden Howe was extremely rude, unpleasant, and disrespectful. He and the night manager (the one with the ponytail) even slammed the window in my face. Instead of resolving the issue, Aiden continued arguing with me and behaved in an unprofessional manner.
What made the situation even more unacceptable was that, after I called the store, my personal phone number—taken from the store’s caller ID—was misused, and I received calls that I experienced as threatening. This crossed a serious line and is completely inappropriate for anyone working in customer service.
I will be contacting corporate first thing tomorrow morning to report both Aiden and the night manager. The entire experience was unprofessional, unacceptable, and genuinely concerning.
Value meal, very hot cool with cracker, think the best we both had.
Around 1am Thursday January 23, 25, I noticed a little discomfort, thinking maybe it’s because I haven’t had any fast food in a while. In my sleep that discomfort was still there. 4am I’m running to the bathroom with continuous diarrhea and vomiting. Later realizing I’m experiencing food poisoning. Throughout the day I experienced soreness, fluctuating in body temperature and still diarrhea. If anyone has experienced anything similar to this from this restaurant or any other place, please contact your city’s health department.
Taco Bell management and employees: Ridiculous “Timed service” and ridiculously rude employees will not help your business. You’ve lost mine.
