I have been coming to Famous Dave’s Bar-B-Que for many years at the Columbia, MD location. Despite the staff changes, this location has consistently served excellent food. The food is 5 star. The professionalism of the staff is always extraordinary. I really felt welcomed and not tolerated. The staff is well trained. They really go above and beyond any expectations that I’ve had. My server tonight was Joanna, from start to finish she was consistently professional. Despite having a lot of customers, she made the time to ask me if I enjoyed the presentation of the food, did I need anything else, and if I enjoy the food. I look forward to returning in the future. Thank you the staff of Famous Dave’s in Columbia, MD. And a very special thanks to Joanna. Keep up the good work!

I truly do you like Famous Dave’s. The server we had was really nice, the atmosphere was very quiet, and it wasn’t crowded at all. Most of the time when we go it’s pretty empty. I’m not sure why that is. Maybe people are ordering more take out than anything. Staff was very friendly and nice. And the food wasn’t too bad. This place isn’t what it used to be, but it’s not bad at all. There cornbread is to die for. It’s probably one of the most amazing things on the menu LOL.

We were in town from Virginia and made it a point to come back here after our last stop here a month prior. The food is AWESOME and exactly what you want when you say you have a craving for BBQ. Plus we had a SUPER sweet waitress named Kimberly (a Hispanic girl). Definitely coming back next time we are in town

I’ve been coming to this Famous Dave’s for a few years now and it has really become one of my comfort spaces! I love their happy hour menu and their bar Staff is amazing.
Kimberly was my waitress today and she has helped me a few times before the first thing I noticed about her was her smile! She’s very kind and attentive. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a nice environment and great service. I’ve only had one issue in my entire time coming here, but the management handled it so quickly I was truly amazed. 10/10

Came in waiting two hours in a different place and they took me in immediately-the environment was very chill very relaxing, I don’t even think I could say how good the food is. You have to try it.

Amanda is amazing. The cat fish appetizer and ribs by far the best thing here. Corn bread was also great. But the Mac and cheese and baked beans not so much. I guess Mac and cheese depends on your taste buds, it has jalapeno inside of it, something about Mac and cheese being spicy is not the thing. The bake beans I found flavorless. But again I depends on your taste buds.

I had lunch there today with my wife. She got the dark meat chicken combo and I got the barbecue chicken sandwich. both were delicious. The portions were plentiful, no one walks away from there hungry. The service was outstanding. Our server, Joanna had a trainee, Kazi By just watching them, I knew Kazi was in good hands. We had not been there in some while but plan to put in back in the rotation
